Big news in the Kardashian family today! Kourtney announced she's pregnant and is expecting her fourth baby, her first with her husband, Travis Barker.
The mama-to-be took to Instagram today to share the news with the world, but it seems not everyone understood the announcement.
She surprised Travis with the news at one of his concerts.
On Friday, Travis, the drummer for Blink-182, was playing a concert, and Kourtney was in the crowd.
Holding up a handwritten sign while Travis was on stage, Kourtney shared the news that she was pregnant.
"Travis, I'm pregnant," the sign read as she danced in the crowd with her daughter, Penelope.
Travis' reaction was adorable.
After noticing the sign, Travis jumped off the stage to reach Kourtney in the crowd, and they kissed.
On Saturday, Kourtney and Travis shared a joint Instagram video of the announcement, and surprisingly it was met with some controversy.
Some people didn't get the joke.
"She looks super preggo," one confused person wrote, "You mean he didnt know??? Oh, they must be filming."
"I’m confused. She looks 4-5 months pregnant and showing,” someone else wrote. “So why is he acting surprised?”
“Such a lame publicity stunt for this attention starved, cringe couple,” another confused person shared.
“Lol soooooo she doesn’t look pregnant to y’all?” another questioned. “The sign looks like it’s a lil too late.”
But fans rallied around the two and explained the announcement to those who didn’t get it.
“People arguing about the way she announced the pregnancy should see the All The Small Things music video,” one fan wrote.
“If you all were Blink 182 fans you would understand the sign is the same sign the girl had in all the small things video back in the day,” another commenter shared.
“It's a call back to the All the small things video where a fan in the crowd holds up that sign,” someone else explained. “Only actual blink fans would know.”
“It’s just a cute way of announcing it to the public, what is wrong with everyone?” another fan asked. ”Congratulations Kourtney.”
Kourtney and Travis have been open about their struggles with getting pregnant and IVF.
On the Kardashians' show last year, Kourtney and Travis documented their attempts at getting pregnant. They ultimately decided to stop IVF treatment and just believe whatever happens from there would be meant to be.
