Usually, Kourtney Kardashian ignores the wild rumors that circulate about her family, but this time, she’s putting her foot down. After speculation that her 15-year-old son, Mason Disick, is a father to a 1-year-old baby took hold online, she’s addressing the claims head on. Don’t mess with this mama – or her kids.

The rumors seem to have started on TikTok.
In late February, multiple TikTok videos (including this one) claimed that Mason has a 1-year-old baby named Piper. The information (and photos included in the video) all supposedly come from an Instagram account that belongs to Mason but not the official one he occasionally uses.
Now, Kourtney is speaking out.
Once the rumors made their way to Kourtney, it sounds like she didn’t want to let them spread any further than they already have – even though she admitted in the message she shared on her Instagram Stories that addressing rumors is something she doesn’t do often.
“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true,” she wrote in her post. “They are not. Mason does not have a child.”

She went on to call the accounts posing as Mason ‘fake.’
“My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him,” she continued. “Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies. And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
Mason is more private than the rest of his family.
Although his cousin, North, seems to jump at any chance to be in the spotlight – and the other kids in his family seem fine with appearing on The Kardashians, including two of his siblings, Penelope and Reign – Mason’s mostly avoided the limelight for a few years now, only recently opening his own public Instagram account.
It’s no wonder that Kourtney would want to maintain that privacy for her son and to shut down rumors that have the potential to be so damaging. No kid deserves that, even if their family is as famous as the Kardashians are.
