When scrolling through their Instagram feeds, fans couldn’t tell if they were looking at a photo of Kim Kardashian or her mom Kris Jenner. In spite of their 25-year age gap, Kris and Kim looked shockingly similar during a party last weekend thanks to Kris’ new hairstyle. On Monday, March 24, Kris shared several snaps from a party she went to over the weekend.
“Spent last weekend celebrating Michael and Lydia Kives!!! ❤️🖤,” Kris captioned the post, which included several photos of her hairstyle, along with some photos of daughters Kim and Khloé Kardashian.
In the comments, fans admitted that they almost didn’t recognize Kris because they thought she was one of her daughters instead. “For a minute I thought it was Kim dressed like Kris😂,” one fan commented on the post.
Another fan said that they initially thought “Kim’s looking more like Kris these days.” Then, they realized the photos actually showed “Kris looking more like Kim.”
“Kim is that you?” a third fan wrote. While several fans thought Kris looked like Kim, others thought her hairstyle made her resemble Kourtney, Khloé, or Kendall Jenner.
“Khloe is your Tall-Mini Me,” one fan commented. Another fan suggested that the hairstyle made Kris look more like Kendall instead. “Omg you’re matching Kendall with the hair wow 🙌❤️,” they wrote. Meanwhile, another fan called Kris “Khloe’s twin.”
Kim and Khloé didn’t seem to mind. Both of them commented on the post as well, praising their mom’s look. Kim called Kris “gorge,” while Khloé said, “I love you my queen.”
When ditching her signature pixie cut, Kris appeared to take inspiration from Kim’s LACMA Artv+Film Gala hairstyle. At the time, Kim sported a similar bob. However, her outfit choice attracted more attention than her hairstyle did. Some fans were critical of the way Kim chose to pair a vintage Garrard cross pendant previously worn by Princess Diana with a plunging dress.
