Kris Jenner has been getting a lot of attention for her new look lately. Every time she or one of her daughters shares a photo of her, fans comment on how amazing she looks, almost as if she’s “aging backwards.” But when Kris, 69, and her daughter Khloé Kardashian, 41, shared a series of photos on July 17, fans called Kris’ look “disconcerting” and couldn’t stop looking at her hands.

In photos they both shared on July 17, Kris and Khloé posed alongside Cici Bussey as they celebrated her birthday. Khloé shared just one photo of the three of them seated at a table with a birthday cake.
“The Trio!!! Oh the stories these two have!” she captioned the post. “Happy happy birthday my angel @cicibussey ! I love you more than words can express! Thank you for the most majestic memories. Simply….. Thank you. I love all of you and every single story!”
Meanwhile, Kris’ post included several headshots, a group photo, and some closeups of Cici’s birthday cake.
Fans think the photos look ‘heavily edited.’
Like always, some fans couldn’t get over how amazing Kris looked in the photos. “Honestly how great does ur mum look , I literally keep thinking it’s Kim in the photos, some great genes there ! ☘️” one fan commented on Khloé’s post. Another wrote, “I almost thought Kris was Kim 😍😍😍😍”
Others, however, pointed out that looking at Kris’ hands in the photo might change that perception. “Kris looking all freshly nipped and tucked until…the hands,” one critic wrote. A second person speculated that Kris’ hands “didn’t get in the filter.”
“Trust her face looks stretched and less wrinkled and the filters help,” the person continued. “Kris has aged and she’s older. We can’t hide it.”
Some critics pointed out that Kris probably looks a bit different in real life anyway.
“I’m really concerned that a lot of people who look at her selfie posts think she actually looks like that without any editing,” a critic wrote on Reddit. Another person shared, “Please tell me people know these are HEAVILY edited and do not think she actually looks like this?”
Regardless of whether the photos were “heavily edited” or not, one person found Kris’ look “so disconcerting.” “She looks great,” the commenter explained. “But every time I see her it just looks so creepy.”
Khloé recently said she stopped editing her photos — and fans don’t believe her.
On a recent episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, Khloé admitted that she used to edit all of her photos, but looking back at them now, she finds it “humiliating.” Now, she says she prefers to “take 500 photos to get the one that I like.” But fans aren’t so convinced that she’s given up on Photoshop.
One person called out Khloé on her recent post. “I thought we weren’t using filters of any kind?” the commenter asked. A second critic just assumed the mother-daughter duo used filters. “That filter is insane,” the person commented. Stop it.”
