As Kendall Jenner‘s little sister (even if only by less than three years), it’s practically Kylie Jenner‘s calling to make fun of her model big sis at any opportunity, and this week, she poked fun at her in the best way. To make it even better? The Kylie Cosmetics founder got her son, Aire, in on it, too, making the moment both cute and hilarious all at the same time. It’s not often we get glimpses of Kylie’s 3-year-old, but in this case, it must have been worth it.

On Wednesday, Kylie took to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of the son she shares with ex Travis Scott hard at work in the kitchen, slicing up a cucumber with a kid-safe knife. This kid is locked in when it comes to those cucumbers.
Over the photo, Kylie wrote, “Runs in the family?” and tagged Kendall.
Kendall’s viral moment took place on ‘The Kardashians’ season two.

Kylie’s referencing a scene from The Kardashians when Kendall insisted on chopping up her own cucumbers for a snack, even after mom Kris Jenner asked if she’d like her chef to do it for her.
Though she did admit she’s not a “good cutter,” Kendall proceeded to cut the cucumber like she’s never handled a knife before in her life, and the scene instantly went viral.
Fortunately, Kendall took the teasing in stride.
She wasn’t too bothered by Kylie’s joke — instead, she shared the photo on her own Instagram Stories, writing, “I knew he was mine!!!”
To her credit, Kendall’s kept a pretty good sense of humor when it comes to the cucumber incident.
“Let me just say I successfully cut ‘The Cucumber,’” Kendall told WSJ Magazine in a 2023 interview. “So if anyone says I cannot cut cucumber, I physically cut the cucumber and I did it tastefully. I didn’t hurt anybody. So I can cut cucumbers.”
This isn’t the first time Kylie has poked fun at Kendall for her chopping skills (or lack thereof).

Back in November, Kylie shared a TikTok of herself cutting up a cucumber, acting out the audio from the episode. She even tried to cut the cucumber exactly the way that Kendall did it, mimicking her facial expressions perfectly.
