Kylie Kelce and her husband, former NFL player Jason Kelce, have never tried to hide what a big deal football is in their family. And now, it sounds like at least one of their daughters is jumping on the bandwagon — and she’s not holding back! On this week’s episode of Kylie’s podcast, she shared the story of the first time her 5-year-old daughter, Wyatt, ever said a curse word… something her mom is known for doing every now and then.
it all started when Wyatt was 3, and the family was watching a Philadelphia Eagles game at home — something they did quite regularly, since Jason was on the team.
“One of the ways my oldest daughter has displayed that I think she is headed in the direction of the arts is the one day that we were watching an Eagles game and she was sitting on the couch, and she was watching the game, and I shared my thoughts and feelings about the game,” Kylie said.
“She sat there, and I could see it on her lips and I was like, ‘What are you doing?’ So I luckily knew to pull out my phone because I was like, ‘This is … something’s about to pop off,'” she continued.
Sure enough, she was right, and Wyatt “said exactly what mom said in the exact intonation. Inflection, tone, all of it. Spot on.”
While that might upset some parents, Kylie admitted that she was actually “proud.”
“It was so impressive,” she said. “It was almost as if she had taken… she watched me do it. She took notes and she was like, ‘I can nail that.'”
She tried to pretend like she didn’t approve, but in the end, it was no use. “In my head, it was a proud moment,” she said.
Wyatt may have picked up her colorful vocabulary from her mom, but she’s always been known to have a big personality, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all if she’s a little Kylie in the making.
Now, we just need to know if this milestone has occurred for younger sisters Elliotte and Bennett yet. At least baby Finn is too little to speak, let alone curse (though that will start happening before Kylie knows it!).
