Kylie Kelce Says People Can’t Accept That She’s Happy With Four Daughters

Kylie Kelce shares four daughters with husband Jason Kelce, and she has no regrets — no matter how often people ask her if she ever plans on trying for a boy. During an appearance on the Sunday Sports Club podcast this week, Kylie said the “older generation” seems to be obsessed with her having a son, but she’s not mad at all that all of her kids are girls — even if some people, weirdly, think she should want a boy.

Kylie said some people have big opinions about her daughters’ names — and her family plans.

All four of her daughters — Elliotte, Wyatt, Bennett, and Finnley — technically have names that could be considered gender neutral, and because of that, Kylie said people get really weird about her childrens’ genders, adding that she gets comments about not having a son “literally all the time.”

“I recently made the comment that the people who ask whether or not Wyatt, our oldest’s name, is a family name because they can’t fathom that we chose Wyatt for a girl, out of the universe, out of the spectrum of names that we could have chosen for a girl,” she said. “Those people and the people who say, ‘Are you going to try for a boy?’ they’re usually a Venn diagram.”

She thinks the “older generation” makes comments about her daughters’ names because they assume she’s not “fulfilled.”

Kylie went on to say that she believes this is totally an “older” people thing (read: boomers) because of their way of thinking is a lot more traditional.

“It’s this older generation of like, ‘That’s the only way to feel fulfilled.’ You wouldn’t choose a boy name for a girl because you thought it was a nice name and you thought it was powerful and that she would be a boss and that people would answer her emails faster,” she said. “You had to have done that cuz it was a family name.”

According to Kylie, people just can’t accept that she and Jason “are at peace and comfortable in our all-girl household.”

Getting questions about having a son is pretty routine for Kylie at this point.

In fact, just this week, she addressed rumors that she’s pregnant with her fifth child on a new episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast.

“We have four kids. Stop trying to get me to have more. Stop it. That’s between me, my husband, and my motherf—ing uterus,” she said.

We can always trust Kylie to give us the truth without holding back, and honestly, she’s right. If someone is pregnant and wants you to know about it, they’ll tell you.

And as a fellow girl mom, hear me when I say this: Don’t assume that moms of only girls are waiting for a boy to come along to complete their family!
