Kylie Kelce Has a Strong Opinion About What Moms Should Wear to the Beach After Kids

Having babies comes with a lot of changes to your body — something that Kylie Kelce knows all too well after welcoming four daughters with husband Jason Kelce. That means that when she hits the beach, her choice in swimsuits has totally changed.

According to Kylie, moms should “lean in” to different styles of swimsuits on vacation… and that means saying no to string bikinis forever.

Kylie doesn’t think she’ll ever wear a bikini again.

On this week’s episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie talked to guest Ilona Maher about body image, including at the beach. After welcoming four daughters in the past seven years, the styles she’s comfortable in have changed quite a bit. \

“Personally after having four children, I can honestly say I don’t think I’m going to wear a bikini again,” Kylie said.

She added, “I may wear a high-waisted bikini, but under no circumstance am I popping on a string bikini and that’s my business because that’s what feels comfortable for my body. There’s something very Baywatch about a full suit, and Baywatch was the epitome of sexy, beach. Like lean in.”

Actually, she might be onto something there…

She may change her mind after she puts more focus on working out, though.

When Ilona asked Kylie if she wears a high-waisted suit, she said that she actually opts for low cut when she’s been hitting the gym, which she said she’s “getting back into.”

“I’m getting a little squat action,” she said. “We’re getting the tush back up to where she previously was. My field hockey butt, she was good. She was good. We’re going to see if we can have her reappear.”

Kylie’s swimsuit needs to be safe for splashing around with her kids, too.

Kylie also mentioned that her suit can’t just fly off in the pool or the ocean while she’s playing in the water, especially if she’s pretending to be The Little Mermaid with her daughters.

“I wanna jump in the waves, I want to play games,” she said. “I want to play mermaids. So if I’m supposed to dive into a wave like Ariel, then I’m going to need something that’s definitely not flying off. So that needs to be taken into consideration.”

Another great point — why not feel secure enough in your suit that you know it’s definitely not going anywhere while you’re having fun? Worrying about losing your top can really suck the fun out of having fun with your family at the beach.

Whether you’ve had four kids or zero kids, the best swimsuit for you is the one that you feel the most comfortable in. But it definitely doesn’t hurt if you make sure that you can splash around like Ariel before you buy it!
