Most celebrities become the subject of pregnancy rumors at some point in their careers, but Lady Gaga really isn’t having it now that it’s her turn. After photos surfaced over the weekend that made it appear that the singer was sporting a baby bump at her sister’s wedding, Gaga has taken to TikTok to put a rest to all of the speculation for once and for all — and one of her very famous fellow artists is taking the opportunity to speak up in her defense, too.

Earlier this week, photos surfaced of Gaga at her sister's wedding.
The Sun reported that Gaga was in Maine with longtime partner Michael Polansky, celebrating her sister, Natali, as she walked down the aisle. In photos that were taken at Natali’s wedding rehearsal dinner, Gaga appeared to have a baby bump, fueling speculation that she’s pregnant.
Now, we finally have our answer.
Gaga shared a TikTok video to clear up the rumors.
In the video, Gaga showed off her thick winged eyeliner and let her caption do all the talking.
“Not pregnant — just down bad crying at the gym,” she wrote, quoting the song “Down Bad” from Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
She also took the opportunity to encourage her followers to register to vote ahead of the upcoming presidential election.
Taylor Swift commented on the post in Gaga's defense.
Taylor, who has been the subject of pregnancy rumors herself throughout her career, commented on the video.
“Can we all agree that its invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body. Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation & neither does any woman,” she wrote, adding a red kiss emoji.

Gaga's fans defended her, too.
Among all of the comments from fans who were excited about Gaga’s Taylor reference were plenty who backed her up.
One person commented, “I literally just watched a video above about these rumors. People are so mean.”
Someone else wrote that the actual baby she has on the way is her upcoming album: “We are waiting for the birth in August. We are waiting for the album!”
She also mentioned the rumors on Instagram.
On her Instagram Stories, she shared the same link to register to vote along with a different video of herself winking at the camera. She wrote, “Not pregnant.”
Well, that pretty much says it all — and good for Gaga for taking control of the narrative!
