‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Welcomes Baby No. 2 as a Single Mom by Choice

It's official: Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is now a mom of two, and she's making her family dreams come true all by herself. On September 4, Lala announced that her second child, another baby girl, arrived earlier this week, joining big sister Ocean, 2. And though Lala shares Ocean with ex Randall Emmett, this time, the reality TV star decided she didn't want to wait around for a man to expand her family — something she's been excited about doing for a long time.

Lala shared the news with a low key Instagram Stories post.

In white text on a black background, Lala simply wrote, "Welcome into the world, my love."

At the bottom corner of her post, she added the date "9.3.24," revealing that her baby, who she previously shared is another girl, was born on Tuesday.

Lala first announced her pregnancy in April.

She shared the big news by posting a black-and-white photo of her bare, pregnant belly, showing it off while wearing a pair of unbuttoned jeans. In the picture, Ocean is standing next to her mom, smiling up at her with the biggest grin.

"I’m expanding my pod," she wrote in her caption.

The news came not long after Lala revealed she was undergoing fertility treatment to conceive.

In January, Lala told Cosmopolitan all about her plans to add another baby to her family as a single mom by choice. At the time, she shared that she was undergoing intrauterine insemination to conceive.

"When I had my life go in a very different direction, I knew I wanted more kids," she said. "It was such a strange thing that was happening because everyone would tell me, 'You’re going to find somebody.' And I got to thinking, why does my wanting more children need to involve another person? I think if there’s a will, there’s a way. I knew a donor was an option, and I knew IUI was an option."

She's also talked about her decision on 'Vanderpump Rules.'

"I know this is not the norm, and I just feel like going the donor route is the right decision for me," she said on an episode of the show that aired in March. "I want an absolute with this baby. No matter what, this is my baby. No one can ever come in and take it from me. I don't have to share it on Christmas Day. Just mine."

Now, it seems like her wish has come true.

There's no doubt Ocean is excited to be a big sister.

While talking to Bravo's The Daily Dish, Lala shared that Ocean has been pumped about having a baby in the house.

"Ocean constantly just wants to know if the baby is still in my belly," Lala said at the time. "That kid wants to see it, but she does understand and she's really excited."

Congrats to Lala and Ocean!
