When Landon Barker found out he would be a big brother again, he was publicly less than enthusiastic. He said on the Zach Sang Show podcast that he didn’t know what kind of relationship he would have with the little brother that his dad, Travis Barker, and new stepmom Kourtney Kardashian, had together. He even admitted he had hoped for a girl so he could remain the only boy in the family on his dad’s side. Before his little brother’s birth, he said he had wished to be “the only Barker boy.”
Landon also shared in February 2024 with Entertainment Tonight that he had yet to hold his baby brother Rocky. For Landon, it was a matter of comfort and feeling a little ill at ease with a small baby. He and Rocky are also 20 years apart in age, and Landon’s fears about connecting with his little brother were understandable for fans of the famous blended family. Now, however, Landon has shared an update about holding baby brother Rocky.

In November 2023, Landon admitted on SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio, according to Page Six, that he hadn’t gotten close to his little brother, who had been born earlier that month.
“I actually haven’t even held it,” he said, with the “it” referring to Rocky. He also asserted that he had no plans to change diapers.
In April 2025, Landon spoke to E! News at the Revolve Festival about being more comfortable holding Rocky now that he was no longer a newborn or so “fragile.” Landon shared with the news outlet that previously, he was worried about holding his newborn baby brother. Now, for Landon at least, things are different.
“He’s to the size now where I don’t feel like I’m going to — I don’t know, I had this weird fear that was like, ‘Oh my God. He’s so fragile,'” Landon told E! News. “But he’s a bit bigger now so I feel very comfortable holding him.”
He also shared that he and Rocky have a special bond that feels like “pure energy.” Although Landon has yet to share any Instagram photos of himself holding Rocky, he does often post about his family in general. In November 2024, Landon shared a photo of himself with Travis and Kourtney and gave his dad a birthday shoutout.
“Happy birthday t dog I love you more than life, you inspire me everyday to become better and work harder,” Landon wrote. “You always go out of your way to make sure everyone around you understand how loved they are. You are my biggest inspiration, everyday my goal is always to be more like you!”

Although Landon stays mostly out of the news despite being part of an ultra-famous family, his younger sister Alabama Barker can’t seem to keep herself out of headlines when it comes to her feud with singer and rapper Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie. In a series of social media posts between the women, Danielle accused Alabama of stealing her boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Le Vaughn. Le Vaughn is a rapper and social media influencer. The women began releasing diss tracks to fuel the fire, and users on social media took sides in the drama.
Outside of the ongoing feud, Landon spoke out about the criticism his younger sister has faced. The same time he spoke to E! News and shared his update about Rocky, Landon said it can be difficult not to listen to the negativity from others, and that includes Alabama.
“Words can hurt,” Landon said at the time. “Even with my little sister or with myself or whoever.”
