No one ever said that Lauren Sánchez was a fashionista, but when the diva walks around with the amount of confidence of a runway model, it’s hard not to scrutinize what she wears. So when people began roasting her hard on X (formerly Twitter), they poked fun at the wife of Jeff Bezos in a major way, calling out her clothes as looking like they’re from Shein or designed for a “mob boss.”
Before Bezos and Sánchez got married, she wasn’t a model, and she wasn’t ensconced in the world of fashion. But she was a successful entrepreneur and businesswoman. You might think that would earn her some class when it comes to what she wears. Despite her frequent designer labels, though, according to some, her style just is not it.

Social media users compared her look to a ‘mob wife’ while criticizing her style:

In the thread on X about Sánchez’s outfits with a video from a Dior fashion show, people dogged her hard for clothes that some said look like they came from the Amazon Essentials line. Hey, I’m not here to talk down about Amazon Essentials. As a normie, I have plenty of things in my house from Amazon’s store brand, so to speak.
But Sánchez is a billionaire. Let’s get it together, babe.
Other people from New Jersey and Long Island joked that her clothes would fit right in in either place. Another joked that Sánchez looks like a “Jersey housewife.” In this particular video, she does have a mixture of fur and animal print that, together, scream The Real Housewives of New Jersey circa 2010.
“Women are cruel to other women but Sánchez has used poor judgment,” someone wrote in the thread on X. “With limitless money, all she needs to do is hire a really good dresser and stylist.
Wouldn’t be that hard to look a bit more classy and you can bet, with an unlimited budget, she’d have her pick of stylists. She currently looks like a south-of-the-border drug cartel kingpin’s main squeeze.”
Someone else wondered why Sánchez wouldn’t wear Dior to a Dior fashion show. I mean, they’re asking the important question here. But overall, people are not impressed by the outfits Sánchez wears or how she presents herself. It also doesn’t help that she’s married to Bezos, a man who is in Donald Trump’s inner circle.
“She always dresses like a stripper who married money,” another critic of Sánchez wrote. “Still has no class. It’s the mistress vibes. She wants men to fawn over her. He wants men to envy him for it. She’s a prop and an arm piece. It’s [a] classic and a clown show of narc on narc union here.”
The Dior fashion show isn’t the first time Sánchez got attention for her clothes. She wore a revealing white blazer with what appeared to be a bustier underneath it during Trump’s inauguration in January 2025. No one expects her to be the picture of high fashion. They do, however, expect more class to come with the amount of wealth she possesses.
Someone else commented on X, “She really doesn’t have style but so much money… Oh Lord… Shein model is fair to say.”
