What to Know
Adult film star Lena the Plug, whose real name is Lena Nersesian, and her husband, Adam Grandmaison, better known as Adam22, are in the midst of a strange and scary legal battle. News broke in early June that Nersesian and Grandmaison filed for divorce and custody of their child.
But on June 4, Nersesian took to social media to share the real story. She and her husband are not divorcing, and Nersesian thinks she knows exactly how the rumors got started. It’s a wild and frightening story of catfishing and potential stolen identity.
Nersesian claims a man named “John” started the rumors.
During her video, Nersesian claims a man she referred to as John (not his real name) contacted police twice for welfare checks, claiming Grandmaison abused her. She let the police know that was not the case, and she was fine. Recently, she received a rejection notice from a courthouse for a divorce filing, along with a $435 check.
She found it odd but became very concerned when she saw John’s name. She contacted both the courthouse, which had no records of a divorce in her name, and the authorities. Police suspected that someone was forging her signature and advised her to file an identity theft claim, which she did on May 6, 2026.
Nersesian thinks John is being catfished by someone pretending to be her.
TMZ and other outlets reported on Nersesian’s divorce, which prompted her to contact the courthouse again. This time, they told her she’d filed, which Nersesian denied. She surmised that John is likely the victim of a catfishing scam by someone pretending to be her.
“I’m not divorcing at all,” Nersesian said. “I love my husband, and we’ve been together for 10 years. Basically, I found out that I was getting divorced when you guys found out that I was getting divorced.”
Grandmaison also denied the rumors.
I love that girl way too much to ever leave her ❤️❤️❤️ https://t.co/JpKtdHzwRK

He took to X and shared screenshots from TMZ showing texts about his reported divorce. He said it was the first he’d heard of trouble in his marriage.
“We didn’t fake a divorce. I was at work with Lena when I got this text. She knew it had to be this crazy stalker filing the paperwork with forged signatures right away. She wanted to debunk it immediately but said we should let it ride and get a ton of free promo for a couple days first,” Grandmaison wrote.
The couple received mixed reactions to their news. Some were glad to hear it was fake.
“We know that you and your husband have a somewhat ‘unusual’ married life, but I’m happy for your daughter that there’s no divorce on the horizon :),” a fan wrote.
“This is some seriously bizarre stuff. Surely there has to be a way to prevent this from future occurrences,” another person added.
Some were downright brutal about the couple’s chosen lifestyle and their young daughter. “Child custody needs to stay with the Government; you two are depraved lunatics,” someone wrote.
Others had questions about the couple’s daughter’s future.
“What will your daughter grow up to be? What have u guys instilled in her? Seriously? Not hating, just a parent asking,” a comment reads.
But according to the couple, Nersesian and Grandmaison are solid, at least for today.
