Lindsay Arnold Just Addressed the Question Everyone Had About Breastfeeding After a Boob Job

Are you a mother who has had a couple kids and you’re still on the fence with your partner about whether or not you’re planning on having one more? If that’s the case, maybe you’ve found yourself considering getting a boob lift or augmentation after you’re finally done breastfeeding. But what if you didn’t really have to wait?

Former Dancing with the Stars pro, Lindsay Arnold, is a prime example of a mother of three who has gone through just that and has been able to come out on the other side as a confident and happy mom.

She recently took to her Instagram Stories to answer a few fan questions about mom life, particularly being able to breastfeed her newborn son after undergoing a breast augmentation and lift.

She answered one of her fans’ biggest questions.

Just a few weeks after welcoming her son, the 32-year-old mother of three revealed on her Stories that breastfeeding her son, Hayes Duff Cusick, has been going smoothly, even after having a breast augmentation and lift.

“It’s going SO well. 🥹 I was curious with how it would go as I knew there was a chance I wouldn’t be able to after my augmentation and lift but happy to report that it’s been the exact same experience as it was with my girls! Milk supply has been great no issues latching and I’m just really grateful 🫶🏻,” she shared.

According to Cleveland Clinic, women can breastfeed after breast augmentation surgery, but it can be impacted due to severed milk ducts or lost glandular tissue, so Lindsay is lucky.

Lindsay has been open about her breast surgeries throughout the entire experience.

In July 2025, Lindsay appeared on The Squeeze podcast to chat with Tay Lautner about all things motherhood, dance, and her decision to have a breast augmentation prior to being done having all her kids.

She shared that she had always thought that she would have the surgery after she was finished having children, but she realized that she didn’t need to wait until then to achieve her body goals.

“I always was the person that said once I’m done having kids, I would like to get a breast augmentation. That was always my plan. I didn’t always know I was gonna do it now,” she shared.

She said that when she learned that it was possible to have the surgery and have more children, she didn’t really see the point in waiting. “I have no regrets. And it’s just been a really fun thing for me. At the end of the day, it’s my body and that’s what I wanted to do. Amen,” she said on the podcast.

The internet has had mixed feelings about Lindsay’s entire breast augmentation journey.

Even though things have gone smoothly for Lindsay, and she’s been able to safely breastfeed her baby boy, of course there’s been online chatter about her decision to get the surgery. This Reddit thread is chock-full of discussion!

For one thing, a lot of people were quite perplexed that Lindsay decided to do the surgery around the same time as her sister, Brynley Arnold, People reported. One person shared in the Reddit thread that they found it to be an odd thing that the sisters were doing it so closely together. They wrote, “This is SO weird to me. Why why WHY are they getting boob jobs so close together???”

Another person shared their support by commenting, “Honestly if you have the money for it, I don’t see anything wrong with it 🤷‍♀️ it’s their body at the end of the day.”

Another person in this Reddit thread couldn’t help but drop their two cents on the timing of Lindsay’s breast augmentation. “A boob job right into pregnancy is such a wild choice,” they wrote.
