Lisa Marie Presley Claims Priscilla’s Boyfriend Molested Her When She Was 10 in New Memoir

Following the release of Lisa Marie Presley‘s posthumous memoir on October 8, more and more revelations about her life are coming to light. In the book, From Here to the Great Unknown, Lisa Marie wrote that mom Priscilla Presley’s boyfriend molested her starting at the age of 10, and the details of what allegedly happened back then are pretty disturbing.

At the time, Priscilla was dating Michael Edwards, who she was with for about six years, according to People.

Lisa wrote that the first time he came into her room, she “woke up to find him on his knees next to my bed, running his finger up my leg under the sheets, and if I moved, he stopped — so I moved.”

He told her he wanted to teach her 'what was going to happen when I got older.'

She claimed Michael put his hand between her legs and “gently kissed” her.

As she got older, the situation continued, with his actions allegedly turning more toward touching and spanking, and she claimed he would sometimes leave bruises on her body. She also accused him of having a “horrible temper,” once throwing a dining room chair at her when he was angry.

When Lisa Marie told Priscilla what was going on, he apologized.

“Edwards was sitting on their bed looking very sullen and sulky,” she wrote of his apology. “He said, ‘I’m so sorry, but in Europe that’s how they teach the kids, so that’s what I was doing.’ I didn’t know what to say. I would always feel bad for him when he apologized. Eventually it became that he would touch me and spank me, telling me not to look — ‘Don’t look at me,’ he’d say, ‘don’t turn your head.’ I assume he was jerking off.”

She wrote that he was very 'calm' while spanking her.

“He wouldn’t be mad at me — he did it very calmly, just sitting in a chair, whacking my a–. My butt would be black, blue, orange, green,” she wrote.

She added that when she showed Priscilla her bruises, her mom simply asked her, “Well, what did you do to cause that?”

This isn't the first time Lisa Marie has called out this alleged behavior.

As People pointed out, back in 2003, Lisa Marie told Playboy she was aware that Michael had written a book (titled Priscilla, Elvis, and Me) where he admitted that he “became aroused” while playing in a pool with her.

“I know he wrote a book and said he lusted after my developing body as I got out of a pool,” she told the magazine at the time. “He made his attempts at coming into my room and being inappropriate while drunk.”

Michael, who is now 80, said in a statement to Page Six that no one from the book’s publisher had reached out to him to verify the claims and said that he was “in shock.”
“I was like a father to Lisa Marie,” he said. “I don’t think Lisa was that stable during that period of time.”
