When 19 Kids & Counting first debuted on TLC, the Duggar family was all living under one roof with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. The boys shared one room, the girls shared another, and somehow, it worked. Since then, many of the kids have grown up, moved out, and started families of their own, and it's been so much fun to see where they've ended up living and how they've made their new spaces their own.
From brand new homes to unconventional living spaces to doing hardcore house renovations, it feels like we've already seen it all from the adult Duggar kids, and the changes just keep coming. Some of them boast homes that are downright enviable (like Jinger Duggar's house in Los Angeles), and others make us want to hire them as our new interior decorators.
Read on for a peek inside the Duggar homes that they've shared with us on social media. We'd love a full tour of everyone's living spaces someday, but until then, these photos and videos will just have to do.
Joy-Anna & Austin Forsyth's House
After Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth spent some time living in a camper that they renovated, they decided to settle down and bought a house in November 2019. At the time, Joy shared that the house had three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and they spent a while fixing it up before they moved in — a good time for them to be professional house flippers!
Joy's Living Space
Joy's house has an open floor plan, which must be helpful when she needs to keep track of what son Gideon and daughter Evelyn are doing while she's working on other things at the same time. The kitchen has wood floors, granite countertops, and a big fridge. So pretty!
Joy's House Tour
After Joy was finally all moved in and the renovations were done, she took to her YouTube channel to share a full tour of her new home. She's kept her décor modern and neutral, with plants throughout the house. It has a bright, airy feel — just like Joy!
Jessa & Ben Seewald's Living Room Makeover
In March 2019, Jessa decided to take a more "minimalist" approach to decorating and made over her living room. Painting the walls a lighter color and adding a new rug and some plants gave the room a totally different feel, with everything centered around her fireplace.
Jessa's Front Window
Here's another view of Jessa's living room (with her kids adorably perched on the couch). It looks like the room gets plenty of light, and we're loving those massive plants. Major props to Jessa for managing to keep those in such good condition with four little kids in the house!
Jessa's Nursery
Ivy, Henry, and Spurgeon all share a room at Jessa's house (baby Fern is still sleeping with her parents), since it's close quarters in their two-bedroom home. Because Jessa loves DIY projects, it was no surprise when she showed off this changing table that she painted green and updated with new hardware. So pretty!
Jinger & Jeremy Vuolo's Los Angeles Pad
Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo's home in LA isn't their permanent residence — it's a space the church that Jeremy's working for is letting them use. But boy, is it gorgeous! This kitchen is to die for, with plenty of counter space for food prep and an oversized stainless steel fridge.
Jinger's Living Space
Jinger's home in California also boasts hardwood floors, lots of natural light, and plenty of open space for the kids to play (something that Felicity must be thankful for). Jinger and Jeremy do have a TV that hangs above their fireplace, as well as a piano that Jinger often plays.
Jinger's Bedroom
When it comes to the room where Jinger and Jeremy sleep, the couple likes to keep it simple. Sure, they have matching bedroom furniture, but they seem to keep the space uncluttered, without many decorations on the walls, and a bedspread with a simple pattern.
Anna's Kitchen
Word on the street is that Anna lives in a warehouse on the Duggar family property, but we'd never know it by looking at the photos Anna has shared of their home. She's taken on a lot of DIY projects that have really livened it up, like this kitchen backsplash.
Anna's Living Room
Anna is one of the few members of the family to have a TV, and it's right in her living room, mounted over the fireplace. We're loving the hardwood floors, too — and her stand for firewood right next to the fireplace. She keeps things clean and simple, which probably makes life with seven kids just a bit easier.
Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar's Compound
The Duggar family home is absolutely massive — and it's something we've seen a lot of on 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On. After all, with so many kids in their family, of course they're going to need a lot of space, and they also have a huge front yard for the kids to run and play on.
Jim Bob & Michelle's Living Room
Yep, there's room for a lot of people to hang out in this living room. And since this is where the majority of their gatherings happen (whether it's for their Bible studies, a holiday, or just a casual Tuesday), it makes sense that it would be so open and accommodating for their kids and their kids' spouses and children.
Jim Bob & Michelle's Kitchen
The Duggar kitchen is impressive. Not only is it this large area that we can see in this picture (which would be more than enough for most families), but there's also a prep area like we'd find in a professional kitchen, with multiple ovens involved.
Jill's New Kitchen
After Derick passed the bar in 2022, he and Jill bought a new home closer to his new job, and so far, they've been working on renovating it to make it their own. They had the kitchen cabinets repainted, as well as some of the bedrooms, and it looks like they're just getting started with the improvements.
Jed & Katey's Home
They've only been married for a year (and don't share much on social media), but Jed and Katey have shared glimpses of their home in the videos they post on YouTube. Reportedly, Jim Bob and Michelle gifted them a three bedroom house to live in after they tied the knot, which is certainly big enough for their growing family.
Jessa's Fixer Upper
Jessa and Ben are in the process of moving into a new home, but first, the renovations have to get done — including an entire addition to the house. So far, Jessa has been documenting all of her plans and construction on YouTube, and it looks like it'll be a big step up from their two-bedroom starter home.
