Ryan Edwards faces a lawsuit from his estranged wife, Mackenzie Edwards, who claims the Teen Mom star refused to pay child support for their two children. The couple share 6-year-old son Jagger and 4-year-old daughter Stella, and she claims that they’re in his care for “zero days” out of the year. Ryan, 36, and Mackenzie, 27, are currently in the middle of a nasty divorce after she filed in February 2023.

The court papers are pretty damning.
In court papers obtained exclusively by The U.S. Sun, Mackenzie says Ryan has income from Teen Mom, while her monthly income was listed as $3,000.
“Because mother has physical custody of the partiesā two children and father is gainfully employed, the Court should order child support to be paid by Father to Mother during the pendency of this case, and at the final hearing said child support obligation be made permanent,” the papers read. Her āgood faith estimate of incomeā for Ryan is $18,440 per month.
A hearing is set for December 2024.
Mackenzie is requesting the court set current child support and retroactive child support back to the date of their separation. The hearing request is in December 2024. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup recently reported that Ryan earns aĀ $35,000 paycheck for each episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter in which he appears. The outlet also reported he started working a job in August, making around $27 an hour as a diesel mechanic.

A source claimed Ryan is postponing the divorce.
In a previous interview with The U.S. Sun, a source told the outlet that Ryan has been dragging his feet with the divorce. “He has done nothing to move it forward,” the source claimed. “He either fires a lawyer or doesn’t show up.”
Ryan and his current girlfriend are expecting their first child.
Ryan and his girlfriend Amanda Conner are expecting their first child together. The couple confirmed in October 2024 after keeping the pregnancy under wraps for months amid speculation from fans.
“For me, I can enjoy this pregnancy and I have a second chance at motherhood,” Amanda said in an interview with People. “For Ryan, he is in a place that he hasn’t been in for a long time. We are excited to move forward from our past mistakes.”
Amanda has an 11-year-old child from her first marriage to Brandon Hancock; she lost custody while incarcerated.
Their family and friends are there for them.
“We have a great support system with family and friends, and they are very happy for this new chapter of our lives,” she continued. “We found out only due to me having morning sickness, and ironically, Ryan had morning sickness as well and we just decided to take a test and it came out to be positive.”
