Madonna Falls Off of Chair While Performing ‘Open Your Heart’ During Concert — See Video

It seems like Madonna has had a particularly rough go of things over the last couple of years, and her luck may not have changed for the better just yet. While on stage recently during her Celebration tour, Madonna fell off of a chair as she performed her hit song "Open Your Heart," and now, the footage of the moment is going viral. This looks like a pretty hard hit, especially after Madonna has suffered health setbacks not too long ago.

The moment was captured by a concertgoer.

A video of the moment that Madonna took a fall is going viral on X (formerly Twitter). As the singer performs "Open Your Heart," a dancer pulling her backward across the stage falls, taking Madonna (and her chair) down with him.

Ever the pro, Madonna simply rolls over and continues singing without missing a beat, even laughing a bit before she picks herself back up.

Fans have mixed feelings about the accident.

Although some people are concerned for Madonna's safety, many people are simply impressed that she handled the fall as well as she did, especially considering that she is 65 years old.

Others are simply glad she's fine. "That’s scary. Falls are so dangerous and can kill you. Not a big fan but I’m glad she’s ok," one fan on X tweeted.

Fortunately, she seems to be doing just fine.

Following the concert in Seattle, Madonna thanked the crowd with a photo taken during the show (one that did not include her fall, to be specific). The show must go on, and go on it will — the Celebration tour's next stop is in Vancouver later this week.

Madonna has faced ups and downs with her health recently.

Even though the singer is back on tour, it was originally postponed when she was hospitalized for a bacterial infection that she later revealed required her to be in a medically induced coma for 48 hours.

At the time, she was in the hospital for days but has seemed to have recovered since she was released in June 2023.

Madonna has been touring for decades.

At this point, she truly does know how to handle it when things go haywire — and with so many performances happening with so many dancers and moving parts, it's bound to happen occasionally!

Here's hoping this is the last mishap for a while.
