Mark Wahlberg Admits He Visited His Daughter Ella’s College & Crashed a Frat Party

Most parents love visiting their grown-up kids at college and seeing what their kids' lives are like there, especially if they're living away from home, but this celebrity dad decided to take things to another level when he stopped by during parents' weekend. In a new interview, Mark Wahlberg revealed he crashed a frat party when he was visiting daughter Ella at school. We have to wonder if Ella thought he was really cool for this or if it was just another "Dad, you're embarrassing me" moment …

Mark opened up about visiting Ella in college.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight, Mark said that parents' weekend was "incredible."

"They were having the most fun I've ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas. I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town," he said.

He visited her at school in September.

She's attending Clemson University in South Carolina — a long way from her family's home in Nevada.

Ella, 20, is the oldest of the four children that he shares with wife Rhea Durham. Their younger kids include Michael, 17, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 13.

He missed out on having college experiences of his own.

That doesn't mean that he wasn't also having fun in his own way during those years, though — he was a little busy being Marky Mark, after all. But as he told ET, he thinks that if he had gotten the chance to go to college, he would never have left.

"I would still be at the frat house. I'd be a 25th year senior, yeah," he said.

Mark recently reflected on his choice to spend more time with his family.

Earlier this year, Mark told E! News that the big reason behind his family's move to Las Vegas was for him to be able to work from home and spend more time with his kids.

"This made a lot more sense for us. We came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there's lot of opportunity here. I'm really excited about the future," he said.

Mark does seem like he's a pretty fun dad.

So hopefully, that means he didn't do anything too embarrassing while he was at that frat party.

Besides, there's a good chance that Ella's earned some cred with her classmates for being Mark Wahlberg's daughter. Wait — do college kids today even know who Mark Wahlberg is?
