McDonald’s CEO Tries To Convince People He Does Eat the Food There After Viral Clip

If you’re already tired of hearing about the hamburger war between fast food restaurants like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s, we’re sorry to say that it might not be going away any time soon. But don’t worry, because the rest of us are here to continuously call out McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski.

After he posted a video of his Big Arch review wherein he takes the tiniest bite and calls the burger a “product,” someone found another video he made once upon a time and shared it to Reddit, as one does. In this video, Kempczinski addresses how often he eats McDonald’s food. In retrospect, for many, it’s like Kempczinski is trying extra hard to convince everyone that he really likes the food there. Right.

The McDonald’s CEO says he eats at McDonald’s “a lot.”

Although this particular video was posted before Kempczinski’s Big Arch review video, people are still picking it apart. In the video, Kempczinski says he eats at McDonald’s “probably three or four times a week.” I mean…how much do we really believe that at this point? Maybe he’s including his various taste test videos where he barely eats a sample of the food offered at McDonald’s.

“Sometimes, it might be a breakfast, sometimes it might be a lunch,” he says in the video. “But hey, one of the perks of the job, you get to eat at McDonald’s a lot.

After that video was shared on Reddit, some users joked about his insistence that he does indeed eat the food at McDonald’s. If you have to say it yourself, it is a bit of overkill.

“I saw someone on Twitter say we shouldn’t bully him as we don’t know his home planet’s cultures and customs and I [died],” one user joked in the Reddit thread. “The only McDonald’s this guy has ever eaten in his LIFE is the slither of a bite he could barely choke down on camera.”

Someone else wrote, “According to a former consultant who posted on LinkedIn, he only ever touches the Filet-O-Fish without tatar sauce. He doesn’t eat anything else off the menu.” Unfortunately, this user did not come with receipts, but still.

Others straight up called out the McDonald’s CEO for what they believe he really eats for his lunches while at the office. Whether it’s a salad from Whole foods, per one user’s comment, or sushi from somewhere else that he sends his assistant out for, no one believes that this guy actually eats McDonald’s for an actual meal, let alone numerous times each week.

People are still waiting for a response to that viral Big Arch burger video.

While some people are picking apart Kempczinski’s other videos, they are also patiently waiting for him to make a new one addressing the backlash he received for the Big Arch review video. To his credit, he kept the Big Arch video up on Instagram. But for now, as other CEOs and presidents of fast food chains poke fun at Kempczinski, he has yet to actually address that viral burger video of his.
