All signs point to trouble in paradise for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. Since getting together, the two were often attached at the hip in real life, but fans have picked up on their growing distance from each other on social media after Megan unfollowed her rocker fiancé and made several cryptic posts about infidelity before deleting her Instagram page altogether.
Megan deactivated her Instagram on Sunday.
But hours before deleting her account, she posted a series of photos of herself with a curious message for her followers, according to Page Six. While Megan didn't exactly call MGK a cheater, she did include a caption featuring lyrics from Beyoncé's "Pray To Catch Me" song, which the music icon wrote about her own husband Jay-Z's infidelity.
Then Megan went on a deleting rampage and scrubbed MGK from her Instagram.
She went through and meticulously removed all images of her (maybe former) fiancé. Considering MGK's Instagram is still active and contains photos of him and Megan during happier times, we're going to have assume that this breakup wasn't mutual and that the "Bloody Valentine" singer is likely to blame for whatever went down between them.
Megan threw a little extra shade at her presumed ex before she was done.
She unfollowed MGK and added Eminem, Harry Styles, and Timothée Chalamet to her small list of followers. Considering MGK and Eminem are known enemies — some people even believe that the beef between the two is what prompted the punk rocker to leave the world of rap behind — many are hailing the move as the ultimate act of pettiness on Megan's part.
People largely celebrated the news online.
While there were some fans who joked about the breakup, a lot of the reactions were ones of happiness. Not many people were fans of the pairing, especially considering some of MGK's possessive statements about his relationship with Megan, including how he designed her engagement ring so that it would be physically painful for Megan if she ever tried to take it off her finger.
They've only been together a few years.
The pair got together in 2020, not long after Megan's divorce from fellow actor Brian Austin Green. While Megan and MGK made waves with their over-the-top PDA (they were giving Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker a run for their money for a while there), many people seemed to cheer them on when MGK revealed how much of a positive impact Megan had on his mental health.
Though we'll have to wait for confirmation, for now it certainly seems like Megan and MGK have called it quits. Another Hollywood romance bites the dust.
