Breakups are always a bit messy, aren’t they? And when you add cheating rumors into the mix, things can get all the more dramatic. When Grammy winner, Megan Thee Stallion, recently took to her Instagram to seeming call out her NBA star boyfriend, Klay Thompson, for cheating, the gossip mill immediately started working overtime. Lots of people online are speculating and trying to put the puzzle pieces together to figure out who Klay might have cheated on Megan with. Some seem to think it’s a cute WNBA point guard named Lexie Brown. Pretty scandalous!
Megan Thee Stallion took to her Instagram to accuse her boyfriend, Klay Thompson, of cheating.
According to Hollywoodlife.com, Megan posted an Instagram story on in late April 2026 that accused her Dallas Mavericks boyfriend, Klay Thompson, of “cheating” and not being “monogamous” within their relationship. She ended her Instagram story by stating, “I need a real break after this one.. bye y’all.” Girl, if this is true, we do not blame you whatsoever!
Interestingly enough, Megan also shared in her story that Klay had “[her] around [his] whole family playing house” and she even put up with “HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment” during basketball season. Yikes. This does not sound healthy.
Due to his reputation of cheating on previous girlfriends, a lot of folks in this Reddit thread are not surprised but feel for Megan. One person wrote, “Yea not really surprised but this is also a crazy fumble by Klay lol.”
So, who did Megan’s former man cheat with? People online have a few ideas.
There is some online speculation that Klay cheated with WNBA star, Lexie Brown.
According to Hollywoodlife.com, some social media users have speculated that Klay cheated on Megan with none other than Lexie Brown, who’s a WNBA Seattle Storm point guard.
Some people online have speculated that things were romantic between the pair because they “run in the same circles since they’re both professional basketball players.” Some on social media claimed that when news of Megan and Klay’s breakup came out, Lexie made her Instagram account private. It’s since back to being a public account, but if that’s true, that’s certainly something one might do if they wanted to avoid getting trolled.
Even though it’s super unclear if Klay and Lexie actually have any kind of relationship, some people on Threads are saying that the two basketball stars may be a better match. “Fyi LEXIE BROWN is a WNBA player whose father also played NBA Basketball. Megan doesnt know her daddy. She is not on Klay or Lexie’s level. Good upgrade Klay,” one person wrote.
Megan has loyal fans in her corner because someone replied to that comment, “The most disgusting comment I have seen in some time. Your values are dog s—.” We would have to agree!

Let’s mount up, y’all.” Another person commented in the thread on the vulnerability Megan was showing in this moment. “I’m so glad people were showering her with the love she deserves.
