Ever since Meghan Markle was expecting her first child, Archie, in 2019, royal fans have been on bump watch — and now that she's expecting her second child, it's happening even more. Everyone wants to catch a glimpse of her growing baby bump. Hey, no one can really blame us for wanting to be with her every step of the way during her pregnancies, right? We're sure the Duchess of Sussex was tired out by all the royal engagements the first go-around (much like Kate Middleton). But this time, she's getting to have a more laid-back experience, just as she deserves!
And while we're seeing less of her bump now that Harry and Meghan live privately in California, during Meghan's first pregnancy, we got to witness outfit after outfit that perfectly showed off her growing belly. And we couldn't be more excited for each sighting that pops up on the internet now that baby No. 2 is on her way.
The pregnancy glow was real with this royal, and now it's back! Meghan is due in summer 2021, which means our opportunity to watch her blossom in her pregnancy is almost over — and there haven't been many bump glimpses at all. But between the photos that have surfaced and all of the shots of Meghan from when she was expecting Archie, there are so many bump pics that we can gush over in the meantime.

The First Glimpse
Yes, let's go back to where it all began. The pregnancy announcement was dropped — and bam!, we had a bump. To be totally fair, we're sure that Meghan and Harry didn't want to announce the news too soon, but once they did, bump watch 2019 was officially on, and Meghan did not disappoint.
Baby Bump With a Baby
This is like Meghan getting a glimpse into her future! A born baby and an unborn baby all in one picture. This one made us all wish Meghan could give birth right then, but she still had a while to go. Fortunately, once Archie was born, it was definitely worth the wait (and Meghan and Harry probably felt the same way).
Dressed in Navy
Meghan sure did cover her bump in a lot of dark blue over the course of her and Harry's trip to Australia. And in hindsight, we have to wonder if all that blue was a hint that she was having a boy. Even if it wasn't, nobody can deny how good this lady looked, even in darker colors.
Stylish Bump
We should have known immediately that Meghan would have killer pregnancy style, and she definitely did right from the start. Meghan and Harry's overseas tour was totally an indication as to what the duchess's pregnancy fashion would be like, setting the stage for some major looks in the months ahead.
In the Wind
Meghan is one of the few people who look good even when the wind is blowing. This side view gives us the perfect glimpse at her mini-bump, with Harry exhibiting some seriously protective body language here. Since then, we've only learned more about how protective he does feel over his wife.
No Mistaking It
This outfit is all about the bump. Meghan is positively glowing. And though she typically sticks with neutrals in her wardrobe, this blue dress proves that color looks beautiful on her, too. And those statement earrings? Meghan was definitely killing the royal style game this day, bump or not.
Cheeky Bump
She may be pregnant, but that isn't stopping this duchess from having some fun! Meghan's in navy blue again, probably because it's one of the colors that looks best on her. And since she's been so open about how her pregnancy was hard on her emotionally, it's great to see the happy moments like this one.
Beachside Bump
Does this count as baby's first trip to the beach? Meghan and Harry were really living it up during their royal visit to Australia. Meghan looks perfectly beachy posing in a sundress, her bump proudly on display. Traveling while pregnant isn't always fun, but it didn't seem to faze this expecting mama one bit.
Traveling Bump
While we're still on the subject of the Australia tour, Meghan certainly was a trooper during this trip. We don't know how she managed to go to all of their royal engagements — especially dressed in classy outfits like this. Hopefully she got plenty of time in comfy sweatpants at night!
Slightly Hiding
You have to look closely in this shot, but there's definitely a little glimpse of a bump here. In those early days of her pregnancy, it was a bit easier for Meghan to hide her growing belly before she really popped. This was before Archie was ready to make himself known!
Baby Cape
Not many people could pull off outfits like that, but Meghan and Harry pretty much look good in anything, even when they're immersing themselves in the culture, traditions — and dress — of another country. Plus, Meghan's bump was her best accessory at the time, so that's really all that matters!
Casually Strolling
Seeing photos that were captured of Meghan and Harry during her first pregnancy that featured the quieter moments between the couple are just so special. This one in particular is suitable for framing. We just love how Meghan naturally holds her stomach to show off her bump. Too cute!
So Tropical
Sorry, Meghan. That loose-fitting dress can't hide that adorable bump of yours — though, in this photo, that's not exactly what we're focused on. How is it possible that one person can be this gorgeous? Meghan was ready and willing to embrace everything that Australia had to offer (and she looked good doing it).
Baby in White
Here, Meghan wore a dress that looks an awful lot like her wedding reception gown, but this time, she had a little baby bump buddy accompanying her, which is certainly different from that night in May 2018 after she said, "I do." It's not always easy to look good in white, but Meghan does.
Blue Mood
Seriously, Meghan wore more blue during her first pregnancy than she has the entire time she's been in the royal spotlight. What's up, Meg? Maybe the queen of neutrals was simply feeling a bit more colorful while she was expecting — or maybe her tastes changed once she got pregnant.
The Soft Cradle
Ah, here's something that is more in Meghan's fashion wheelhouse. She did end up pulling the neutral colors out of her closet during her pregnancy, and yes, she looked amazing. This elegant dress was putting Meghan's bump on full display. It's hard to look classy while pregnant, but she does.
Emerald Baby
OK, so forget what we said about the color blue because dark green is obviously Meghan and her bump's color — and now that we know Archie has red hair just like his dad, we don't doubt that remains true now that he's a growing toddler. She looks absolutely radiant. Color us jealous.
Just … Yes
Yes, the emerald green did look good on Meghan, but so does this bright red. We're conflicted, but maybe we just need to make peace that — bumpin' or not — Meghan looks good in just about any color she puts on. Who is her stylist? We probably can't afford an appointment, but we can dream!
Evening Gown Baby
Formal event to attend while pregnant? Much like Kate Middleton has done many times before, this was no problem for Meghan. She pulled out this gorgeous off-the-shoulder dress and was sparkling next to Harry on their night out. This is a great choice, pregnant or not!
So Sparkly
Meghan adorned her bump in sequins at the Royal Variety Performance, and we are certainly here for it! These events every year are a time when we get to see some of the best in royal fashion, and Meghan did not disappoint in this striking black and white outfit.
Surprise Appearance
If anyone knows how to command a stage, it's this lady. Everyone was thrilled when Meghan unexpectedly showed up to the 2018 British Fashion Awards — and there are plenty more surprise appearances she'd make in her career as a royal. We couldn't take our eyes off her growing belly!
Reunited
This was such a sweet moment that happened during the awards that Meghan surprised the audience at. It was so heartwarming when she presented the British Designer of the Year — Womenswear honor to the designer behind her fabulous wedding dress, Clare Waight Keller.
Family Photos
And this might be the most adorable photo of them all: the one Prince Harry took of Meghan in the woods. Ugh, these two need to stop with the cuteness. Even though they're few and far between these days, we are total suckers for the more personal family photos that this couple has shared.
The Fab Four
Considering the fact that we'll likely not see this gang together at Sandringham again, this photo is all the more special. Meghan's baby bump may have been concealed under her dark coat, but it did make an appearance for a Christmas service. We were so happy to catch a glimpse of the royal foursome together again.
Royal Patron
When Meghan was still a working royal, it was easy to see how dedicated she was to her royal patronages. This cute shot was taken as she visited the Smart Works charity, which she would later partner with to create her own line of clothing (that sold out just as soon as it was available for purchase, of course).

This photo was one of the first we saw when Meghan's bump really popped while she was pregnant with Archie, and the bright colors of her outfit made it all the more striking. This purple dress really showcases her growing bump. We love the contrast of the red coat too. Overall, it's another amazing maternity look.
Puppy Love
While visiting the Mayhew animal welfare charity, Meghan bonded with a sweet furry friend. She was instantly smitten — and we were smitten with her bump! There have been plenty of occasions when we've seen the royals get excited to see animals while they're out and about, and Meghan is a well-known dog lover.
Cirque de Soleil
Nothing quite shows off a growing belly like a blue sequined dress — and as we all know, this wasn't even the first time she wore something flashy like this while pregnant. Hey, if we were Meghan, we'd totally do the same. Show off that sparkly bump, girl.
Clear as Day
This just might be one of Meghan's best baby bump shots while she was pregnant with Archie. Standing to the side like this always makes anyone's bump more obvious, and we can't blame her if she wanted to show hers off. It was so obvious how much Meghan loved her baby right from the beginning.
Flower Power
Floral is always a great choice, and of course, Meghan was rocking it. We just loved this garden party-inspired floral frock, which perfectly showed off her bump. (Although it was quite formfitting, so we hope she was comfy in it.) Meghan expertly paired her dress with a cozy gray coat and the hair bun she's so famous for rocking.
All Black Bump
Since Meghan has so many black items in her wardrobe, of course plenty of them came out while she was pregnant — why wouldn't her maternity picks be similar to her everyday style? Here, she dressed in all black for an event, and it really allowed her sleek style to show.
A Night Out
On the night this photo was taken in February 2019, Meghan and Harry stepped out to attend a ceremony for the Endeavor Fund Awards. She stuck with her standard: a black and white colorblocked dress that perfectly showcased her growing baby bump. So chic!
Polished & Poised
Later that same month, Meghan headed out for a performance at London's Natural History Museum, and once again, she pulled off a show-stopping outfit. This monochromatic outfit looked beautiful on her, especially with that hairstyle.
Jet-Setting Bump
This photo was a paparazzi shot taken in February 2019, when Meghan flew home to the US for a baby shower that her friends (including Amal Clooney) were throwing for her in New York to celebrate Archie. As a seasoned traveler, Meghan knew how to look comfy and stylish at the same time.
Moroccan Flair
Another big trip that Harry and Meghan took during her pregnancy with Archie was traveling to Morocco, and of course, she did it in style. Here, she's on her way to meet the Crown Prince, so obviously she had to dress up for the occasion. Look at those heels!

This sweet moment between Meghan and Harry was captured during that same Morocco trip — how adorable are these two? We love how casual the moment looks, how they're holding hands — and, of course, we can't forget to mention how cute Meghan's blazer looks with her bump.
A Casual Bump
When the royal engagement of the day involves visiting a horse stable, it's important to dress for the part, and Meghan nailed it. Wearing jeans, a jacket, and a striped sweater (along with boots), she looked effortless and comfortable. This reminds us of some of Kate's more casual outfits, too!
In Black & White
Another one of Meghan's favorite color combos, and another slam dunk. During that Morocco trip, Meghan met a lot of people, and she looked good doing it. Case in point: this black dress which showed off her bump, paired with a white blazer. And those flashy earrings — so chic.
Meeting More Royalty
It wasn't just the Crown Prince who Meghan and Harry got to meet in Morocco. Here, they're on the way to visit with the King, and they both look pretty good. As we've already mentioned (multiple times), blue really suits Meghan, and that pattern on her dress is too pretty.
Time To Shine
Why are Meghan and Harry so dressed up here? They were attending an event that honored Prince Charles' 50th investiture anniversary, so of course that called for a little extra sparkle and shine, especially on Meghan's part. That dress was super elegant, and would have still been perfect even if she wasn't pregnant!
All Business
Meghan wore this outfit when she went to an event to celebrate International Women's Day in 2019, and once again, she killed it. In fact, this might be one of her best, most put-together looks of her entire pregnancy with Archie, and we don't say that lightly!
Announcing Her Next Baby
Meghan and Harry announced that they were expecting again in early 2021 when their friend, Misan Harriman, shared the good news — along with Meghan's first bump photo — on Twitter. We can't get enough of how happy and relaxed she looks here, lounging with Harry in their California yard.
A Rare Bump Update
In March, Misan returned with another photo of Meghan's pregnant belly — this time involving Archie. He shared this pic after the Sussexes announced that they are having a girl, and even though the shot's in black and white, we can tell that Meghan's maternity fashion game is, yet again, perfectly on point.
Out & About
Offering us an unexpected glimpse into her current pregnancy, Meghan was caught picking Archie up from school with her bump on display. Here, she looks the most like a typical mom than she ever has before — wearing jeans and a face mask to keep everyone safe, and carrying Archie (and his cool lunch box) in her arms. Relatable!
Her Oprah Look
Meghan was on her fashion A game when she and Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an in-depth, no-holds-barred interview in March 2021. She looked beautiful in black and white, and we really appreciated this rare glimpse of her bump. We hope we'll see more of her before her pregnancy is over!
