Meghan Markle‘s life in the US seems pretty peaceful by the looks of her social media posts, but behind the scenes, it is reportedly anything but. According to what a source told Radar Online, Meghan is completely spiraling now that her business ventures aren’t working out the way she hoped they would, and it sounds like Prince Harry might be taking the brunt of the blame — whether he deserves it or not.
Meghan is reportedly having a “meltdown.”
Between the cancellation of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and a loss of some of the Sussexes’ key staff members in recent months, Meghan is reportedly a bit worried that soon enough she’s going to have no choice but to admit defeat.
“Meghan is in full meltdown mode. She’s blaming everyone around her for her troubles – especially Harry – and people around her are afraid she’s losing it,” the source said. “She’s seeing everything she left England for falling apart and terrified she may have to go crawling back.”
She and Harry have been struggling with their staff and their charity organization.
Not only did their publicist, Meredith Maines, recently quit, but so did Jason Knauf, who spent five years as the director Archewell foundation. Considering the fact that Meghan and Harry have been battling accusations of treating their staff poorly, these recent shakeups don’t exactly bode well for the couple.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told the outlet, “This really — more than anything — shows there is a volatile, erratic operation.”
She added, “The only common denominator is the dysfunctional situation of working for somebody who is unmanageably high maintenance at best.”
Unfortunately, the only person Meghan may have to blame is herself.
With Meghan as the “common denominator,” it sounds like the walls closing in around her may be her own fault, according to Hilary.
“She has broken up with every relationship she’s ever had – except for her mother and Harry. She has a track record of destroying relationships — both with her own family and, of course, the royal family — ruined relationships with her friends [and] her businesses. Her Netflix ratings have plummeted,” she said. “There is a consistent pattern of behavior and what it causes — and that’s her track record, and this is all part of that. There is one common denominator — and it’s her.”
That can definitely be a tough pill to swallow, but Meghan seems to be a tough cookie… if she has the motivation to put her life and her businesses back together anyway.
