What to Know
Unfortunately, when you’re someone like Meghan Markle, who has been facing nonstop public scrutiny for over a decade, there are going to be people online who automatically question what you share and for what reason. After the mother of two shared a cute video that showed her husband, Prince Harry, and their 6-year-old son, Archie, downhill skiing on a snowy slope, there’s been an abundance of backlash from people who claim that she posted this glimpse into her family life to distract from her husband’s recent bad press to which he’s been accused of lying in court. Does it really go that deep or are people just extra judgmental these days?
Meghan Markle shares a video of her “boys” skiing and calls Archie a “quick learner.”
Say what you will about Meghan Markle — or you could always just keep it to yourself if it’s something nasty — but this video is quite impressive! We can’t help but wish that people on social media might just appreciate the videography skills and beautiful snowy backdrop rather than continually coming for this family.
Meghan shared a video on social media that showcased her son, Archie, hitting the ski slopes with his father, Prince Harry. In the caption, the proud mom wrote, “My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud.” That all seems perfectly reasonable in terms of a heartwarming message from a happy mother, right?
Well, apparently, you’d be wrong, because the comment section is filled with written lashings from folks who are less than impressed with this famous couple at the moment.
Prince Harry’s civil suit brought out some flirty text messages between him and journalist that people claim Meghan is now trying to distract from.

The person who shared this video on the SaintMeghanMarkle Reddit thread did not hold back when they captioned it with the words, “Quick, let’s use the children to distract from Harry lying in court and being in bed with the press.” Ouch. That is quite an accusation.
After some of Prince Harry’s text message exchanges with reporter, Charlotte Griffiths, were revealed in the civil suit proceedings, some are having a difficult time navigating this family’s motives, since it appears Harry is a lot friendlier with the press than he’s let on the in past.
One person in the Reddit comments went right for the jugular especially in terms of hitting Meghan where it hurts and said, “She thought she was the only person to call him H and to be brought to Botswana when, in truth, she was one of many women. She’s not special. LMAO.” Yikes. In all fairness, when this text exchange took place, it was when Harry was fully single and not married. Can we not go there?
Some are speculating about whether or not this video of Prince Harry and Archie skiing is even real.

There’s seriously no pleasing online haters, especially when they get an idea in their heads.
Unfortunately for Meghan, there are loads of people in the comments who aren’t buying that the father and son pair in the video are actually Prince Harry and young Archie. One Redditor commented, “Two random people in a video skiing down a slope. How very convincing.”
Another person in this Reddit thread couldn’t help but ask, “Where are all the other skiiers or did they make them shut down the mountain?” Well, that is a fair question because they appear to be the only ones hitting the slopes. But due to their celebrity status, maybe they rented out the mountain for an hour or two? That doesn’t sound totally out of the question.
Another commenter claimed that this video was likely a fake when they asked, “Why does the kid look like AI?”
We’re going to give Meghan the benefit of the doubt here. It’s likely she wouldn’t make an AI version of her son skiing simply to share on social media. Right?
