Meghan Markle Shares Rare Photo of Lilibet After Years of Keeping Her Private

After leading a very public life, Meghan Markle has been very particular about what she feels open to sharing, especially in terms of private moments with her family. And after everything she’s been through, who can really blame her? In a surprise move, Meghan shared an Instagram post that went live on February 14, 2026, that showed a very rare glimpse into her family life. The photo showcased two of her “forever Valentines” as you can see Prince Harry holding their 4-year-old daughter Lilibet who’s wearing an all-pink ensemble while holding a bunch of red balloons that work as the perfect symbol of love.

Meghan Markle posts a photo of Prince Harry and Princess Lilibet for Valentine’s Day.

Most photos of her two children that Meghan Markle posts to social media, 6-year-old Archie and Lilibet who she shares with Prince Harry, you can’t really make out their faces, which is likely a deliberate attempt to protect their privacy. But it appears that she decided to change things up a bit to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

Likely taken from her Montecito, California property, as you can spot those quintessential palm trees in the background, Meghan shared a sentimental photo of her husband, Prince Harry, holding their 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet on none other than the day of love, February 14, 2026.

Showcasing her profile as she happily gazes at the bunch of red balloons she’s holding behind her dad, Lilibet looks super cute in a pink outfit that almost looks like she could be a ballerina. Or maybe she just really loves the color pink!

Lilibet’s brother, Archie, doesn’t go unmentioned as the caption reads, “These two + Archie = my forever Valentines” with a cute heart emoji at the end.

Commenters really can’t help but show love for this special moment caught on camera.

There’s nothing like a special post on Instagram to garner some love from followers! In a post shared on Reddit, there are several individuals who are surprised to even be able to catch a glimpse of young Lilibet, as one redditor shares “a rare face shot of Lilibet, she’s so cute!”

Another redditor is fully supportive of the famous Netflix host and mother of two who is always working to protect her kids’ privacy as they write, “I appreciate the fact that they are very careful about not showing their kids’ full faces in released photos.”

Others are just pleased to see that the family is doing well, as they write, “What a sweet picture. They are living their best lives.”

Meghan has been very public about her family’s privacy, but is there more sharing on the horizon?

In an unaired clip from their sit-down CBS interview with Oprah where they openly discussed formally stepping back from their royal duties, Meghan told the host that she thinks “everyone should have a basic right to privacy.”

The children’s book author and former podcast host has certainly stuck to that notion, especially when it comes to her kids in recent years.

Is she feeling slightly more open to sharing her interior family life now? Only time will tell!
