Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from royal duties and moved to the United States, their relationship with other members of the royal family has remained a source of intrigue. Unsurprisingly, as the Duchess of Sussex promoted her Netflix show and lifestyle brand, people wondered how King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton might feel about Meghan’s business ventures.
Previously, insiders claimed that the royal family likely had no interest in watching With Love, Meghan. Well, now, a source has claimed that King Charles might have an unexpected opportunity to try Meghan’s jam.
Royal insiders claim Meghan sent As Ever products to King Charles in an attempt to reconnect.

According to Fox News sources, Meghan might be trying to “build bridges with the royal family” amid the ongoing tension. One royal source told the outlet that the Duchess of Sussex allegedly sent a “sample box of delights from As Ever” along with a note to King Charles.
Per the source, Meghan’s gift to her father-in-law included “jams, honey, crêpes mix and various assortments.”
However, other sources have denied these claims.
To some, sending As Ever products to the king might seem like a sweet gesture. To others, it could feel a tad passive-aggressive, especially because some people suspected that Meghan created her Netflix show to roast the royal family in a subtle way. Regardless, another royal source has suggested that we don’t really need to worry about the reason — because Meghan reportedly never sent As Ever products to King Charles in the first place.
“This did not happen,” a source stated, per the Mirror.
They reportedly don’t talk at all.
Another insider recently told People that the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and King Charles remains “distant” at best. Meanwhile, one source has implied that “distant” might be an understatement. Per a Mirror source, Meghan and Harry allegedly aren’t in contact with King Charles at all now.
Recently, Prince Harry expressed his support for his wife.
It sounds like King Charles has not tried any As Ever products after all. But Prince Harry seems to be a fan. He recently told People that he’s “incredibly proud” of his wife.
“I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do,” he told the publication.
Meghan’s products sold out within an hour.
Though her Netflix show garnered a lot of criticism, Meghan’s lifestyle brand launch appeared to be successful. Fortune previously reported that “tens of thousands” of As Ever products were available for purchase during the brand’s launch. The products reportedly sold out within an hour.
“Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full!” Meghan wrote on Instagram to celebrate. “We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough … for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing.”
