Isabella Strahan Joyfully Goes Back to College a Month After Announcing She’s Cancer-Free

Michael Strahan's daughter is headed back to college just one month after making the announcement that she is cancer-free! The beautiful and brave Isabella Strahan posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories on August 19, 2024, where she appeared alongside her mother, Jean Muggli, as she made her return back to school at the University of Southern California. “Back at USC,” she wrote over the photo, which showed her and her mom smiling at the camera.

She showed off her new campus apartment.

The 19-year-old model posted a video to her TikTok account showing off her new apartment. "New apartment who this ‼️‼️" she captioned the clip, in which she's jumping around her space and dancing to "Blasé" by Ty Dolla $ign.

Her freshman year at USC was cut short.

Isabella's freshman year of college was cut short when she learned she had a brain tumor in October 2023. She had to undergo an emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma, which is a type of malignant tumor.

Isabella underwent extensive treatment.

The teen had extensive treatment, including six weeks of radiation, four rounds of chemotherapy, and three brain surgeries, all which are documented on her YouTube vlog. In January of 2024, after Michael was noticeably absent from Good Morning America for a while, he accompanied his daughter during an interview with the talk show as she publicly announced her diagnosis to the world.

She announced that she's cancer-free.

Eight months after being diagnosed, Isabella announced that she is now cancer-free. "After the wildest 8 months, I finally got to ring the bell. Grateful for my journey," she captioned the post, in which she's seen wearing a gold crown and ringing the bell as bubbles fly around her.

Her dad wrote an emotional tribute.

Michael also shared an emotional tribute to his Instagram page. "@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way! ," he wrote. "You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella ❤️❤️ Full vlog on her YouTube channel. Keep inspiring ❤️."
