Five months after beauty influencer Mikayla Nogueira announced that she and her husband of three years, Cody Hawken, are getting divorced, their split is becoming ugly. According to Cody, Mikayla has broken their agreement not to speak poorly about him in her social media posts, and as their court date draws near, he crowdsourced evidence against her from her followers.

In a video she shared with her 17 million TikTok followers on February 12, Mikayla revealed that she and Cody were getting a divorce after tying the knot in 2023.
“We would do literally anything for each other. I want you to know that,” she said. “I’m not going to be sharing any details whatsoever as to why Cody and I have made this decision. The main reason I am doing that is because I want to protect Cody. Cody deserves that.”
At the time, it didn’t seem like they had any animosity toward each other, even though they were splitting. Later in the video, Mikayla even called the years she spent with him “some of the best memories of my life.”
Cody said Mikayla has been talking about him after she promised not to.
Though Cody has since made his X account private, People reported that on July 2, he posted that Mikayla had “not held up her end of the bargain” by speaking about him and their divorce, and asked her followers to send him videos of times she was “talking s—” about him.
“I think it’s time I learn exactly what has been said about me. Thank you in advance,” he wrote.
It didn’t seem to take long before he had the footage he was looking for. The next day, he returned with a new post, writing, “Thank you everyone, I belive [sic] I have enough, I got so close to ignoring the whole thing till the end but hey what can you do lol.”
His search for evidence seems to line up with the former couple’s upcoming court date, which Mikayla previously said was scheduled to take place in July.
Mikayla hasn’t shared the exact reason that she and Cody broke up.

But more recently, she has alluded to how unhappy she was toward the end of their marriage (though she always keeps it very vague).
“I left my marriage. I left because I had to,” she said in one video she recorded while doing her makeup. “I needed to get out of that marriage.”
Since then, Mikayla has started dating her high school sweetheart.
