Millie Bobby Brown‘s husband hasn’t been a father for a full year yet, and Jake Bongiovi already gotten plenty of flak for not pulling his weight when he and the fam are seen out and about. But now, it looks like he’s officially earned the title of “manchild” after an interview resurfaced where Millie admitted that he’s not really holding his own in other areas of their life together, either. The bar must be on the floor for this guy.
Millie has a pretty big travel pet peeve where Jake is concerned.

The interview is a bit old — it’s from August 2025 for a partnership with Crocs — but now that it’s resurfaced on social media, Jake is back in hot water with fans all over again. Apparently, when they travel together, Jake simply does not pack a suitcase. It’s not that he forgets something in his bag, it’s that he just… doesn’t bother with a suitcase in the first place?
“My husband, he doesn’t pack any clothes, just ever,” she said. “So we’ll leave, and I’ll have a big suitcase, and he has nothing with him. Just his phone, never really a charger.”
And to make a bad situation worse, Jake then insists on using Millie’s charger and making her listen to him complain about not having what he needs on their trip.
“He goes, ‘Mill, I don’t have any clothes.’ And I go, ‘No s—, Sherlock. You didn’t pack anything.’ And he goes, ‘Yeah, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll just have to go shopping here.’ And that is where he gets you. So he likes to not pack, to then go to a place to go shop for the trip that he didn’t pack for.”
The internet isn’t going easy on Jake.
Now that well over 14 million people have watched the interview clip that began circulating on X earlier this week, there aren’t a lot of positive things being said about Jake.
Not only did one person dub him a “manchild,” but many others had even less kind things to say about the 24-year-old model.
“It’s [actually] so sad that such a young successful woman felt like she needed to marry this man and have a child with him despite sign after sign that he is just unhelpful and immature,” another person wrote. “She deserved some freedom after Stranger Things. But she’s carrying the load of parenting alone.”
People aren’t convinced he’s parenting his own daughter enough, either.

You know, like the time he left her and the baby to fend for themselves while they were being hounded by paparazzi and took his sweet time following behind them.
Paparazzi photos and interview clips aren’t enough to truly determine what kind of dad and father someone is, and we’re just seeing a small fraction of his life with Millie and their daughter. That being said… he’s gotta start packing a suitcase. Come on dude. You’re too old for this!
