Millie Bobby Brown Has Tons of Pets – 62 To Be Exact

At what point do you have too many pets? Although many people would probably agree that the answer depends on the person and a variety of factors, actress Millie Bobby Brown recently revealed that she has a surprising number of pets: 62 in total. Granted, the 21-year-old Stranger Things actress lives on a farm, so she doesn’t have all 62 pets living in her house.

Millie said she has 10 ‘personal dogs’ in her home.

Even though Millie has 25 farm animals that obviously don’t live inside her house, she still has a lot of pets inside her home. During an interview with BBC Radio 1, the actress explained her current situation and shed some light on how she ended up with so many furry friends.

“I have 25 farm animals, and then I have 23 foster dogs, and then I have 10 dogs in my house that are my personal dogs, and four cats,” she explained.

She rescued her blind dachshund after she found him ‘on the side of the road.’

When Millie rescued an 18-year-old dachshund, she didn’t think he would live much longer. Now, though, he’s “thriving.”

“I took him thinking he’s not got long left, you know?” Millie explained. “He’s blind, can’t find his way through the house. Well, this dog is jumping on my couch now.”

Previously, Millie suspected the dog, whose name is Rigby, might live for just a few months. But he “is on a year and he is thriving.” She added that Rigby seems to be “nowhere close to death” and is absolutely “killing it.”

The actress also has a pregnant donkey.

Even though she already has 62 pets, she knows she’ll soon have 63. “My donkey is pregnant,” she shared in the radio interview. “Betsy and Bernard got together, had a great night out, and now she’s preggers.” When asked if she would deliver the donkey, Millie said, “Yes.”

“I’ve honestly been there for the births of many animals, and I love it,” Millie said. “It’s such an amazing experience seeing that.”

She’ll name the donkey after a BBC Radio 1 listener.

During her interview with BBC Radio 1, Millie also answered some questions from young listeners. An 11-year-old named Florence asked Millie about her pets. “I know you love pets so much,” the youngster said. “I wanted to ask you if you’d be willing to name your next one after me.”

Millie said the request was “the cutest thing ever” and agreed to name her next pet Florence. “The next pet I get, which honestly could be in the next coming days. I mean, we never know with me,” she started to say before her husband, Jake Bongiovi, reminded her that her donkey is pregnant.

She decided that when her donkey gives birth in June, the newborn will be named Florence.

Some people think Millie has too many pets, but many others defended her.

“She takes care of 0 of them personally,” one TikTok user claimed in the comments. “Celebrities are not like us, do not forget that.”

Others defended Millie, however, saying she has the money and resources to take care of her pets. Addressing the people who accused Millie of having other people take care of her pets, one TikTok user wrote, “So what? She’s personally providing for 62 animals, giving them shelter, a home, and food, including sick dogs that were clearly mistreated and abandoned.” The person added that “it’s obvious she deeply cares for animals.”

Some fans saw Millie as an example of what rich people should be doing with their money.

“This is doing rich the right way,” one person commented. A second fan wrote, “She’s living the dream.”
