It’s been 10 years since the first season of Stranger Things debuted on Netflix, and since then, fans have watched Millie Bobby Brown grow from a 12-year-old in her first big, starring role as Eleven to a 22-year-old married mom. A lot of change has taken place in all those years, and Millie definitely isn’t the same kid she was in 2016. But after she wore a sheer outfit that had fans taken aback for a new interview, some people are saying she was too young when Hollywood sunk its claws into her.
Millie sat down for an interview to promote her new movie.

Millie has been everywhere (along with her costar Louis Partridge) in the past couple of weeks as she promotes her new movie, Enola Holmes 3, and that includes an appearance on the show Street Hearts With Tiff.
For the interview, Millie wore a sheer top under a coordinating light blue cardigan, paired with a black floral skirt and blue heels that matched her cardigan perfectly. Her black framed glasses really tied the look together, but what a lot of people noticed was the fact that her top was more revealing than some of her other outfits during this press tour.
Some people think her outfit is inappropriate — even for a 22-year-old woman.

According to Bored Panda, there’s been a lot of discourse about Millie’s outfit online, including plenty of opinions from people who don’t believe that she should be wearing an outfit like this. It seems like a lot of people think that Hollywood is to blame, since Millie skyrocketed to fame at such a young age.
“What kind of outfit is that… Why do these people want to show off everything?” one critic asked.
Others seem to be under the impression that she’s still a kid, with one commenter even asking why her parents are letting her dress like this. She’s young, sure — but again, she’s a married mother in her 20s and doesn’t need anyone’s permission to wear what she wants to wear. What more do people want from her?
Others think she’s simply coming into her own.
Millie is in her early adulthood, so isn’t it only natural that she’d be changing her look up to find what makes her feel most confident? That’s what most people do once they hit their twenties, so why would it be any different for her?
