There have been a lot of babies in the Duggar family — so many that 19 Kids and Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle already have more than 30 grandchildren, and we don't doubt that plenty more are to follow! But even though there are so many kids in the former reality TV family, every single baby who is born is celebrated big time, and that has resulted in more pregnancy announcements, gender reveals, and birth announcements than we can count — and so many of them have turned out to be absolutely adorable, thanks to the creative moms and dads who put it all together.
From John and Abbie's confetti gender reveal to Jinger Duggar's gorgeous maternity photos that were used to announce that baby Evangeline was on her way, we can't get over how gorgeous some of these announcements have been. And now it's time to revisit them all.

Jill's First Pregnancy Announcement
When Jill and Derick Dillard announced that they were expecting their first child, Israel, in 2014, they shared this sweet photo featuring baby shoes. Ironically enough, they were baby girl shoes, and so far, all three of Jill's children have been boys. We never know, though — she could end up having a daughter who will wear these shoes in the future!
John & Abbie's Pregnancy Announcement
When John and Abbie Duggar announced that they were expecting their first child in August 2019, they made the photo flying-themed with this onesie — perfect for John, who just so happens to be a pilot.
"It really is amazing to think about being parents and having our own child to raise," they wrote on Instagram. "We are thankful that God has blessed us with this new life and we look forward to taking on this new adventure!"
Kendra & Joe Announce Baby No. 2
Kendra and Joe Duggar's family photos have always been gorgeous, so it's no surprise that when they announced they'd be having their second child, the pictures followed suit. Their smiles are front and center, including son Garrett's, and the big baby balloon tied it all together so nicely.
Welcoming Felicity
When Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo's first child, Felicity, was born, they shared the news with this sweet photo. Not only is Felicity's expression simply too cute, but we love that they kept the announcement short and simple. After all, new moms are pretty busy as it is!
When Jessa Announced Her First Baby
Before Spurgeon was born, Ben and Jessa Seewald announced that she was pregnant in the most adorable way. We love that all the focus is on the onesie with her November due date on it and that she and Ben are smooching in the background. As you can see, they're still there, but just out of focus. This is just too sweet!
Israel's Birth
Jill and Derick seemed so excited when baby Israel was born, and this photo was the absolute sweetest way to announce his arrival. We just can't get over how cute his little newborn smirk is here, and he's only gotten cuter since. We can hardly believe he's started school already!
John & Abbie's Gender Reveal
When John and Abbie announced the exciting news that the baby they were expecting was a girl, they went all out. They gathered at Jim Bob and Michelle's house with the rest of the family and were showered with pink confetti. It made a gorgeous photo, but we don't want to think about who had to clean it all up!
Kendra & Joe's First Daughter
When Kendra and Joe announced that baby No. 2 would be a girl, they did it in the most adorable way: with a pink onesie that matched the blue one that big brother Garrett was wearing. It's hard to believe that Addison is already 3 years old. Time flies!
A Pregnancy Announcement & Gender Reveal All in One
Because Jinger had experienced a miscarriage the year before, it was no surprise that she waited a while to announce her pregnancy with baby No. 2 in 2020. But when she did, not only did she share that she was pregnant, but also that her baby-to-be was a girl.
"We are so excited to announce that we're expecting a little girl this November!" she wrote. "Jeremy and I both guessed it was a girl, just a gut feeling we had. And we couldn't be happier."
Joy-Anna's First Baby Announcement
Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth got pregnant right after they got married, so fans were surprised to find out she was expecting so soon — and one day, we'd get to know that baby as the mischievous little guy who is Gideon. Her ice cream themed-announcement was so cute, and she already had a couple bump pics to share, too.
Ivy Jane's Arrival
When Jessa and Ben announced their third child (and first daughter!) Ivy Jane was born, they shared this adorable photo. We can't believe how tiny she was then, as she's now a chatty, active 3-year-old. Even from the first day, Ivy was definitely a beauty.
Samuel's Birth
Jill's second birth was a tough one that ended in a C-section, but she and Derick were still so happy to meet baby No. 2 when he made his way into the world. We can just tell from the look on this dad's face that he was so proud of Samuel (and of Jill, we're sure). Such a sweet picture!
Gracie Has Arrived
After Abbie had such a difficult pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum, of course she was happy to give birth to her baby girl for so many reasons. The photo she and John shared in January 2020 to announce that Grace Annette Duggar had been born was too sweet — and Abbie looked gorgeous, even though she'd just been in labor.
Kendra & Joe's Third Baby Announcement
Since Kendra had just given birth to Addison less than a year earlier, fans were pretty surprised to find out that she and Joe were expecting again in August 2020. But these future parents of three were so excited about their news and shared this announcement on Instagram, writing, "Life is full of surprises and we're thrilled that it is a sweet baby that surprises us this time!"
Joy's Family Announcement
After Joy's heartbreaking pregnancy loss at 20 weeks the year before, it was so exciting to find out in March 2020 that she and Austin were expecting a little sister or brother for Gideon, just as they'd wanted for such a long time. And sharing the news with such a cute family pic was the icing on the cake.
Evelyn's Birth
The best part about this announcement is the fact that mom and dad are all smiles to finally be cuddling their daughter in their arms.
"To say my heart is full is an understatement," Joy wrote. "We have been dreaming of this day and are so happy to announce that our baby girl arrived August 21 at 2:12pm weighing 8lbs 5oz and is 19.5" long. She has the best personality, is easy going, and loves to be held!"
Kendra & Joe's Tiebreaker
The theme of Kendra and Joe's 2020 baby announcement was tiebreaker, since they already had a boy and a girl in their family. When they shared their gender reveal, they happily got to announce that their second daughter was on her way. As far as we know, they've likely welcomed a fourth child since then.
Welcoming Fern
When Jessa and Ben's fourth child came into the world in July 2021, the family became officially evenly split — two boys and two girls! Jessa shared this photo of one of her first moments with baby Fern to announce her birth, perfectly capturing all the emotions that come with welcoming another baby into the world.
Another Boy for Jill & Derick
After Jill opened up about a miscarriage she experienced in 2021, she revealed that she and Derick were expecting their rainbow baby. They shared the news with this gorgeous photo shoot just a few months before their third son, Frederick, was born.
Jed & Katey's First Baby
Jed and Katey didn't waste much time before conceiving after they got married, and their excitement about expecting their first child was palpable. Before baby Truett was born in May 2022, they announced the news using a letter board that said, "And then there were 3."
Growing Their Family Again
