October is here, and that means it's time for a lot of things we've been looking forward to for a while: crisp fall weather, Halloween, and yes, new shows and movies on Netflix. Some beloved shows are returning for another season, including Love Is Blind and Derry Girls, while other titles that are sure to be immediate hits, like The Midnight Club, are on their way, too. And then there are the movies, including the Halloween-themed The Curse of Bridge Hollow.

The movie follows her as she is forced to confront her difficult past.

'The Mole'

Coming to Netflix: October 7

You might remember the reality series The Mole from the early 2000s, and now it's coming back in an updated take. The contestants on the show are competing for money that's constantly being added or taken away from the pot, and only one of them can win. To do so, they have to expose The Mole — the person disguised as a fellow contestant who is there to sneakily sabotage the game.

'The Curse of Bridge Hollow'

Streaming on Netflix: October 14

Here's a family-friendly movie for Halloween, just in time for the holiday. Starring Marlon Wayans and Kelly Rowland, The Curse of Bridge Hollow is about what happens when a teenage girl is forced to get along with her father in order to save their town from Halloween decorations come to life.

'Love Is Blind' Season 3

Coming to Netflix: October 19

Another season of Love Is Blind is on the way! A brand new group of single people are headed to the pods to see if they can find love without ever meeting the person they're falling for face to face — until they've proposed to them, anyway. Zero couples are still together from season two, but maybe this time around will be different?

'The School for Good and Evil'

Coming to Netflix: October 19

Considering the all-star cast this movie has — Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, and Cate Blanchett are involved, just to name a few — there's a very good chance that The School for Good and Evil is going to be a huge hit. It follows the story of two best friends who end up at an enchanted school where they're trained to become either a hero or a villain.

'The Stranger'

Coming to Netflix: October 19

The Australian film The Stranger is about two strangers — one of whom is a suspect in a missing person's case and another who is an undercover investigator working on the case — and what happens when their paths cross and they become friends. Even better, it's based on a true story.

'From Scratch'

October might be known as spooky season, but every month is a good month to watch a new romantic drama. In the limited series From Scratch, Zoe Saldaña stars as a woman who falls in love with a professional chef she meets in Florence. The two face some big challenges together, including the cancer that ultimately takes his life and leaves her a single mother.

Along with del Toro, other famous directors and writers including David Prior and Catherine Hardwicke contribute to the eight-episode series.

'The Good Nurse'
