Nick Cannon's third oldest child, Golden Sagon, is starting fourth grade this year — and he's only 7 years old. Golden's mom, Brittany Bell, took to social media to gush about her kids' accomplishments. She shared several photos of Golden and his siblings Powerful Queen, 3, and Rise Messiah, 23 months, all of whom she shares with Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon is known for having lots of kids. The proud father of 12 shares his two oldest children, twins Moroccan and Monroe, 13, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. Golden is his third oldest child.
His other children are all quite young. Brittany says Golden is 'advanced.'
On August 24, Brittany shared that Golden is starting fourth grade. "Golden is 7 in 4th grade (yes he’s advanced and yes his emotional intelligence matches his cognitive intellect)," she wrote.
Brittany, who is a PhD student herself (and earned an MA in psychology and a BA in journalism), also noted that her son Golden "ran for and was elected as his class representative" last year.

Nick has said that Golden gets his intelligence from his mom.
In 2022, Nick shared that Golden was starting second grade at the age of 5. Though he was proud, he didn't take any credit. "Congratulations Champ!!" he wrote at the time. "I can’t take none of the credit though! He gets his genius from his Mamma! @missbbell ❤️."
Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah are also doing well.
While Brittany and Nick are clearly super proud of Golden's achievements, Brittany also celebrated her other kids, noting that Rise is "already ready for school and had to jump in before we all were off" and Powerful Queen is "already in Pre-K big kids class" and is "quite popular."
"So they are doing well- can’t wait for this year and what they will do!" Brittany wrote.
Nick Cannon called Brittany 'the wisdom, the strength and the nurturer of our family.'
In honor of Mother's Day, Brittany took to Instagram to share a video featuring her three kids in May. At the time, she wrote, "Over 7 years and three precious chapters of motherhood ✨ ," and "my golden powerful rise of life," referencing her kids' names.
Nick commented on the Instagram post, calling Brittany "Super Mom."
"Watching you strive for greatness everyday is jaw dropping!! You are the cornerstone and foundation of such a strong and powerful household!" he wrote at the time. "You make me better, you are the wisdom, the strength and the nurturer of our family! Super Mom indeed! Here’s to Dr. Bell, the most brilliant, intellectual, loving and virtuous woman on the planet! Such a wonderful and amazing Mother! Happy Mother’s Day! I love you!"
