Just in case anyone thought the Beckham family feud was dying down, let us be the ones to let you know that it absolutely is not. As Nicola Peltz and her family celebrated her brother’s wedding, she gushed about finally getting her “dream sister” in a post on Instagram.
Considering the fact that Nicola already gained a sister-in-law when she married Brooklyn, it seems like she could be throwing a huge diss Harper Beckham’s way.
Nicola’s brother Will just got married.
On Tuesday, Nicola shared a post of photos from her brother’s wedding on Instagram (which you can see here), along with a lengthy caption about how happy she was to celebrate his big day.
“Willy, thank you for finally and officially giving me my dream sister, ken. watching the two of you love each other so deeply over the past 15 years has been one of the most beautiful gifts,” she wrote. “your love for each other has always been something so special grow up with and celebrating this moment with everyone was unforgettable.”
If it was a sister Nicola was after, she’s already got a couple — both her older sister, Brittany, and her younger sister-in-law, Harper. But apparently, this sister-in-law is the one she’s been waiting for?
People aren’t impressed that she might be taking public aim at a 14-year-old girl.
Nicola’s “dream sister” reference may have been subtle, but it was most certainly not lost on many of her followers who didn’t think it was appropriate that she’d say anything that might hurt the feelings of a young girl on the internet — no matter what her relationship with the Beckhams might look like right now.
“Well THAT was petty AF. And directed at his little sister. WOW what a couple of winners!” one commenter wrote.
Another added, “Wow! It’s one thing to post something that you KNOW will make someone upset…but when you post something that is meant to hurt a 14 year old girl who has done absolutely nothing wrong to them…that’s WAY over the line!”
One person called Nicola a “narcissist,” adding, “The fact that she would say to innocent Harper that She’s “her dream sister”, then very publicly turn around and tell someone else, no, They are, just to be hurtful and vindictive towards the Beckham family, tells everyone everything they need to know about Nicola Peltz.”
Harper was recently caught in the middle of her parents’ feud with Brooklyn.
Last month, Harper was photographed outside of Brooklyn and Nicola’s Los Angeles home, reportedly delivering a letter to her estranged big brother. He didn’t answer the door, but at the time, he and his wife just so happened to be in New York, so they weren’t home.
In a statement released to Page Six via their rep, Brooklyn and Nicola accused Victoria and David of sending Harper over to do their dirty work.
“That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras,” the statement said.
