Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudeikis Are Photographed Hugging After All That Messy Split Drama

It seems as if there's been nonstop drama between Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis since their breakup, but now, it might finally be calming down. In fact, Olivia and Jason were photographed hugging in Los Angeles last week, one of the first signs that they're starting to get along again — good news for their children.

They seemed happier together than they have been in awhile.

According to the Daily Mail, Jason and Olivia were seen coming out of a meeting together in Los Angeles and were photographed hugging and happily chatting together on a sidewalk before they went their separate ways.

This is what they call progress!

This is the most 'at ease' they've seemed together in a long time.

The last time they met they seemed to be having a "tense" conversation, but this time, things seemed a lot lighter between the, as the news outlet reported. They reportedly chatted and "expressed goodwill" when they parted, with Jason throwing up a peace sign. That's gotta mean something positive, right?

The end of their relationship has been a roller coaster.

Not long after news of their split broke, Olivia was served custody papers involving their children, Otis and Daisy, while she was presenting on stage at CinemaCon last spring. Olivia later called the move "aggressive" in legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail, saying that Jason "intended to threaten me and catch me off guard."

The situation only seemed to spiral from there.

Last October, in an interview with the Daily Mail, the couple's former nanny claimed that Jason allegedly lay under Olivia's car to prevent her from leaving during one of their arguments after he found out she'd been seeing Don't Worry Darling costar Harry Styles.

Here's hoping the hug is a sign that things will only get better.

Even though a lot has happened between Olivia and Jason at this point, it's never too late to work together to create a solid co-parenting relationship for the sake of their kids. Because Daisy and Otis are still younger than 10, this former couple has a long way to go in that department, so maybe they're finding a way to make peace with each other (and this messy situation).
