Actor Orlando Bloom appears in the newest issue of Flaunt in a series of scantily clad photos. It's not his washboard abs that caught our attention, however, but instead the candid way he opened up about the struggles of keeping things romantic with his fiancée, Katy Perry.
The father of two got candid about his home life.
When we say Orlando bared all during his Flaunt spread, we mean it both literally and figuratively. In addition to showing a little skin, the Pirates of the Caribbean star opened up about the struggles he faces in his relationship with Katy, admitting that they sometimes struggle to find common ground.
He described how they operate in completely different ways with their careers.
Orlando strikes us as more of an introvert than Katy, whose Las Vegas residency is an eye-popping burst of color and excitement.
"We're in two very different pools," Orlando explained. "Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands."
This causes some hiccups in their relationship.
Their differences can create some difficulties. "Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging," Orlando confessed. "I won't lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity."
The couple has been together since 2016, got engaged in February 2019, and welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Daisy, in 2020. (Orlando also shares son Flynn, 12, with ex Miranda Kerr.) Despite whatever challenges they're facing, though, it doesn't seem as if Orlando would have things any other way.
Orlando and Katy are engaged to be married.
"I think we're both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did, and there's definitely never a dull moment," Orlando said about his life with the pop star.
It sounds like the pair has a very normal (and healthy) relationship, and we love that for them!
Fans are still waiting to hear wedding bells ring for these two.
Orlando and Katy have been engaged for four years. Like many people, their plans seem to have been thwarted by the pandemic. Add in the fact that they welcomed a new baby during the lockdowns, and it appears the actual act of tying the knot has just gotten away from them.
But based on the way Orlando eventually gushed over how lucky he is to have Katy in his life, we can't imagine they'll be putting off their nuptials for too much longer.
