Paris Hilton recently tried to record a “sweet moment” with her 2-year-old son Phoenix, but instead, the toddler wouldn’t stop dropping F-bombs. In the candid clip that offered fans a glimpse into her family life, Paris couldn’t stop laughing. “That’s how I imagined Paris Hilton as a mom,” one fan commented, adding a laughing emoji. “Laughing it off (instead) of screaming.”

In the video, Phoenix appeared to be eating when he casually said the F-word.
At the beginning of the clip, Paris sat beside her son Phoenix, who was born in January 2023. “When you think you’re capturing a sweet moment and then…” Paris wrote over the video. Then, as he continued to eat his food, the toddler casually said, “f—k.” Clearly shocked, Paris laughed and said, “Did you just hear that?”
He said it several times.
“What did you just say?” Paris asked her toddler. Seemingly unfazed, Phoenix responded with, “F—.” Laughing uncontrollably, Paris said, “What?” Over the video, she wrote, “Could not hold it together.” After she finally stopped laughing, she said, “Oh my God…”

Then, Phoenix looked up at his mom and said the word again.

She looked at her son with a surprised expression on her face and he smiled at her as he continued to drop F-bombs. “How do you not laugh at this?!” Paris wrote over the video. In the caption, Paris admitted that she knows she “shouldn’t laugh,” but said she “can’t help it.”
“Toddlers are actually little comedians,” she added.
Many parents could relate.
In the comments, many parents said they’ve had similar experiences. “Parenthood is truly a rollercoaster ride,” one person wrote.
Another fan called Phoenix’s F-bombs “a toddler [rite] of passage.”
A third fan acknowledged that “being a parent is so wild.”
They couldn’t blame Paris for laughing.
Several parents assured Paris that they, too, would laugh in that situation. Calling the moment “so relatable,” one person wrote that “we all laugh when we shouldn’t.”
A second fan added: “Millennial parents all have the same reaction to that. It takes everything inside me to hold it in and I still barely can do it.”
Paris is mom to son Phoenix and daughter London.
Paris and her husband, entrepreneur Carter Reum, share two children. They welcomed their daughter London in November 2023, less than a year after Phoenix was born. Since becoming a mom, Paris has shared several heartwarming parenting moments on social media.
On February 10, she shared a video that showed her cuddling with Phoenix. In it, London walked up to them to join in. “Do you love your sister?” Paris asked Phoenix in the video. In that clip, instead of dropping the F-bomb, Phoenix repeated, “I love my sister.”
