After 10 years together (and one adorable daughter, Sterling Skye), it's official: NFL star Patrick Mahomes and long-time love Brittany Matthews are married. Fans who follow the couple on social media had a lot of fun on the journey of their wedding planning process, and now, all of those plans have finally materialized. On March 12, Patrick and Brittany tied the knot in a destination wedding in Hawaii, and if there's one way to describe their big day, it's "fairy tale."
From the over-the-top floral arrangements and the tropical-themed favors to the bride's gorgeous Versace dress, there's a lot to love about this wedding. Every new photo we see makes us all the more inspired to steal their ideas for our own weddings — even if we're working with a much smaller budget than the one these two had!
Love dreaming about your future wedding, or helping a friend plan theirs? Here are all the gorgeous ideas we'd totally steal from Patrick and Brittany's wedding.
Rehearsal Dinner Style
Most brides opt to wear a white dress to their rehearsal dinner, and Brittany definitely didn't disappoint! We love this princess-y minidress she chose (and those shoes!) to wear the night before she tied the knot. It's exactly what we think of when we imagine a rehearsal outfit.
The Rehearsal Dinner Tables
Just in case anyone wasn't convinced the rehearsal dinner was just as big of an event as the wedding itself, let this photo do it for you. Shared by famed wedding planner Mindy Weiss, the Mahomes' table settings were full of color, candles, and pretty orange hanging flowers.
A Beachy Venue
This isn't a photo taken of Patrick and Brittany's wedding, but it is an example of how magical their venue really is. They got married at Olowalu Plantation House in Maui, which is right on the water, offering ocean views for the ceremony and the reception. It's hard to imagine a wedding that looks more like a picture postcard.
Sterling's Ride

It was really special to see that the happy couple's 1-year-old daughter, Sterling, was able to be included in the festivities — and something tells us that she totally stole the show. She rolled down the aisle in her very own toy car (a Bentley, naturally), and she looked adorable doing it.
The Flower Girl Dress
While we're on the topic of Sterling, let's also take a minute to gush over how well she was dressed for this shindig! The little lady wore a poofy, feathery white dress that coordinated well with both her mom and dad's attire for the occasion. Such a little doll!
Brittany's Wedding Dress
It's going to be hard to compete with this bride's dress — for her big day, Brittany wore a custom Versace design, after all. But we love the cutout accents in the front of the dress and the big, dramatic bow in the back — these are all little details we can re-create for less when putting together our own wedding looks.
The Floral Arch
For their floral arrangements, Brittany and Patrick used all-white flowers, and the effect was striking — especially when it came to this arch. It added so much drama to their wedding photos, and while we can't imagine how much that many fresh flowers must have cost, the end result was well worth it.
Blue Bridesmaid Dresses
Considering that everything Brittany used for her wedding was all-white, neutral, or very natural, it's no surprise that she went with a very pale blue for her bridesmaid dresses. The color is beautiful, and we're loving those varied necklines.
Blue Details
Speaking of the color blue, it was all over the place at this wedding! Mindy Weiss shared these photos (swipe over to see more), showing off the blue chair covers and another peek at Sterling's blue miniature car. We love the idea of choosing just one color as an accent among neutrals.
The Fun Stuff
When it came to keeping it light, Brittany and Patrick definitely did this too! One of their wedding guests shared this photo carousel with smaller details that we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Scroll over to see their custom beer bottles, along with the coconut souvenirs they handed out as wedding favors!
The Bride's Makeup
Though we may not all be able to throw down cash for a makeup artist like Ash K Holm, who has done up celebs including Ariana Grande and Khloé Kardashian, we can definitely take notes from Brittany's super natural wedding day makeup. Of course, her lashes stood out, but the whole look wasn't too over the top — she still looked like herself.
Dramatic Photography
From the photos we've seen of Brittany and Patrick's wedding so far, we can tell that their photographers (John & Joseph) really went the extra mile to capture their big day. Shots like this are going to be the kind they love to frame for their walls and look back on. We should probably keep this in mind while shopping for our own wedding photographers.
The Groomsman Suits
If you're drawing a blank on ideas for what the groomsmen should wear and don't love the look of black suits, consider gray. This looks classy, is much lighter, and is perfect for a beach (or any outdoor) wedding — whether or not the loafers are your thing!
All the Family Shots
Anyone who knows how close Patrick's brother, Jackson Mahomes, is with both him and Brittany won't be surprised to see what a big part of their day he was. We love the gorgeous family portraits that were taken at the wedding — plenty of framers in the mix for sure.
The Photo Booth
Lots of couples offer photo booths at their weddings, but we have to love how classic the one that Brittany and Patrick used was. It included black and white shots that were high quality — the kind of keepsake we'd love to have after attending a wedding.
