Fans of the Fast & Furious franchise got a special treat recently when they learned that Meadow Walker would be making a cameo in the 10th installment of the street-racing series. The daughter of Paul Walker shared the happy news with her Instagram followers in a touching post about her late father's legacy.

Meadow posted a still from the movie for her followers.
The actress appeared to be looking over her shoulder while she walked through an airplane in the still, which she posted on May 11.
"A preview of my cameo in Fast X," she began in a lengthy caption, which noted that the long-running Fast & Furious film series first hit theaters when she was just a year old.
The 24-year-old spoke highly of everyone involved on the project.
"I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors," she said of reoccurring cast members Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges.
"Thanks to my dad, I was born into the Fast family," she continued. "I can't believe now I get to be up there too."
She also gave the film's new director some love.
The model-turned-actress specifically thanked director Louis Leterrier for his "kindness, patience, and support" in the post.
"It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started, I'm happy it’s just the beginning," she continued. "I am so blessed to be able to honor my father's legacy and share this with him forever."
Friends and fans were over the moon after reading the news.
People flooded the comment section with words of encouragement for Meadow and sweet memories of her father.
"I worked on Fast 6 with your Dad and he was a true gent — so polite, kind and generous," one person wrote. "The loveliest thing about him though was that it was so very clear to everyone that you were his entire world."
Costar Scott Eastwood told Meadow how proud her father was of her. "He is smiling about this right now," he added.

Paul died on November 30, 2013.
The late actor was killed around 3:30 p.m. PST when a car driven by his friend Rodger Rodas left the roadway, hitting a lamppost and two trees before catching on fire. Meadow was just 15 years old at the time.
Obviously, her father's work has left a lasting impression on her, and we're so glad to see that she will be able to take part in something that was such a huge part of his life. We can't wait to see Fast X when it hits theaters!
