Lately, all eyes have been on Peloton — both the app and the fitness equipment itself. Over the past couple of years, more people than ever have been trying to find ways to work out at home, and cycling can be an easy option — not to mention the fact that the instructors can make getting in shape a lot of fun along the way.
Given how big the Peloton community has become, it's no surprise that the instructors have become celebrities in a category of their own, and many of them are beginning to gain recognition outside of the fitness world, too. Some of our favorite instructors have amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, and one of the most popular trainers, Cody Rigsby, recently landed himself a spot competing on Dancing With the Stars.
When they're not working out, these Peloton instructors are usually happy to give us a peek into their personal lives and families at home, and Instagram has taught us a lot about who they are outside of the studio.
Cody Rigsby
The most well-known Peloton instructor might be Cody Rigsby, who is currently competing on Dancing With the Stars. His rides are always good for a laugh, and he's a big fan of using a Britney Spears song every chance he gets. Cody is just as funny on Instagram as he is in his classes, and these days, he's dating fellow fitness trainer Andrés Alfaro.
Jess King
Hailing from New York City, Jess King is a trainer whose classes always promise a good time with fun music (including plenty of 1990s and 2000s throwbacks). When she's not on the bike or the treadmill, Jess is busy planning her wedding with fiancé Sophia Urista, and this lady loves to travel and cook. She often shares her favorite recipes with Sophia in cooking videos on Insta.
Ally Love
If you're looking for a Peloton ride that's more like a therapy session than a workout, you've probably already discovered Ally Love. Ally married her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Haynes, earlier this year, and she also happens to be the in-game host of the Brooklyn Nets.
Matt Wilpers
Matt Wilpers' classes are perfect for those who are still adjusting to the Peloton life — or for those who want to get a workout in without pushing their bodies to the absolute limit. His sunny personality shines through in his classes and in his real life. Even when he's not on the bike, he's training clients through his coaching business, Team Wilpers.
Hannah Frankson
Hannah is based out of London, and she tries to bring the British scene with her to her classes, including celebrating the music from her country. Hannah seems to be a single lady doing her own thing these days, but as far as we can tell from her Instagram, she's loving every minute of it.
Tunde Oyeneyin
If you're ready to sweat, take a Tunde Oyeneyin class — don't expect her to take it easy on you! Outside of the Peloton studio, Tunde is one of the faces of Revlon, and she hangs out with her fellow instructors whenever she gets the chance.
Sam Yo
Sam Yo is a former Buddhist monk who now makes his living as a Peloton instructor, and his classes are perfect for anyone looking for a chill workout. According to his Instagram posts, Sam loves musicals, cooking, and hanging out with his family (including his adorable nephew).
Hannah Corbin
Hannah Corbin might be your new favorite instructor if you're looking for a fun class with upbeat music. Hannah is married to John Ferry, who is a fitness coach who works with Matt Wilpers, and she seems totally obsessed with her dog, Juan, who she adopted over the summer.
Robin Arzón
Is Robin a Peloton instructor or a motivational speaker? She might be a little bit of both. Earlier this year, Robin and her husband, Drew Butler, welcomed their first child together: a daughter named Athena Amelia. (And yes, Robin did continue to coach while pregnant, because she can do anything.)
Kendall Toole
Kendall Toole will definitely help push you in a class — but she'll do it to some of the best playlists on the Peloton app. She's currently dating a guy named Joseph Michael, and off the bike, she's all about traveling, live music, and her dog, Bowie.
Alex Toussaint
When you take a class with Alex Toussaint, you're going to have a good time, but you're going to work hard. Outside of Peloton, he's founded his own clothing brand, and he seems to love traveling, whether his destination is Montauk or Greece.
Jess Sims
Jess Sims started out as a kindergarten teacher, and eventually found her way to becoming a Peloton instructor, teaching a totally different kind of class. She is obsessed with her dog, Sienna (her Insta feed is full of adorable photos of her), and she is also the in-area host for the New York Liberty women's basketball team.
Adrian Williams
If you're a fan of Peloton strength and treadmill workouts, there's a good chance you're already familiar with Adrian Williams. Though he doesn't have kids of his own, his nephew and goddaughter make frequent appearances on his Instagram. He also loves photography.
Emma Lovewell
Emma Lovewell's classes will definitely make you sweat, but she's a great instructor for someone who's still getting used to Peloton workouts. Her boyfriend, Dave, shares in her adventures (though he's not on the 'Gram himself) and she seems to love all things outdoors and DIY.
Olivia Amato
Olivia Amato will challenge you like you've never been challenged before, but don't worry — you'll love her classes. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Tobi, and her fiancé, Daniel Waldron, and the pics she shares of her NYC apartment will make you want to redecorate ASAP.
