What to Know
When it comes to judgy comments, Brittany Mahomes has never gotten off easy with her critics, but this time, she’s facing new levels of snark. Over the weekend, she shared new photos with husband Patrick Mahomes as they stepped out to attend a friend’s wedding, and people are taking her to task for everything from the dress she chose to wear to the event to the expression on her face in the photos.
Brittany and Patrick enjoyed a night out to celebrate their friends’ wedding.

On Instagram, Brittany shared pics from the wedding (which you can see here) including some shots with the bride, her friend Kate Van Wyk, and a couple where she posed with her husband.
For the occasion, Brittany wore a strapless mauve gown, showing off her legs with an ultra-high slit, while Patrick kept it a bit more casual in a white button down shirt and black pants.
“Love celebrating love!” Brittany wrote in her caption, adding a white heart emoji.
People did not hold back when it came to their true feelings about the photos.
Okay but what are these faces?!

On Reddit, Brittany’s biggest critics shared what they truly thought of the photos, no holds barred.
While some didn’t think Brittany’s dress was appropriate for a wedding, others were more concerned about the face she was making in some of the photos, with one writing, “She thinks she is slaaaayyying with that fart face.”
Others were curious where the couple’s three children, Sterling, Golden, and Bronze were that evening. “Can they ever stay home with their kids? What’s with constant parties and booze? Yes, I get going out here and there but it seems constant with them,” one person wrote.
And of course, Patrick’s casual outfit got a few insults, too: “The only time it is socially acceptable to dress like that to a wedding is when you’re like, seven years old.”
Brittany appears to be totally unbothered by the criticism.
In fact, it’s totally possible that she isn’t even aware most of it exists, because the vast majority of comments on her Instagram post are positive and from fans who are loving her wedding look. Either way, she hasn’t responded to any of the trolls or snarky opinions (at least, not yet).
That might be for the best, though. All that matters is that she liked her dress that evening — she’s the one who had to wear it, after all.
