One celebrity couple is celebrating a wedding anniversary that almost didn't happen. In a heartfelt Instagram post that Pink shared to commemorate 18 years of marriage, she admitted that she and husband Carey Hart "almost didn't make it" to their 18th anniversary, opening up about the journey they've been on during their years together. Not only did this give fans insight into the singer's personal life, but many of them also said that they could relate to her struggles.

Pink shared a series of photos of her and Carey together.
They've been taken over the course of the couple's marriage, from their early years to their wedding day to more recent photos that include their children, Willow and Jameson.
"Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table," Pink wrote.
She admitted this anniversary almost didn't happen.
She wrote that they "almost didn't make it" to this anniversary — and that wasn't the first year of marriage when they'd struggled.
"When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust. It’s f—ing hard," she said. "But man if I’m not humbled by the surprise of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. How love rearranges itself and reappears after an empty night or five."
'I wear our scars proudly,' she wrote.
"You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock," she continued in her post. "The family we’ve built and the stories we have weaved together and the memories we continue to make are worth more than a thousand million awards that anyone could give me. I love you and I love us."

This isn't the first time there has been trouble in Pink's marriage.
In 2008, the couple announced that they were separating — just two years after they'd tied the knot.
"This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," a statement from Pink's rep to the Associated Press shared at the time. "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."
The following year, they called off the separation.
The couple seem happy to have worked through their differences.
And in the meantime, Pink's followers shared in the comments on the post how much they appreciate her being real about the challenges of marriages.
"I love how honest you are about your marriage. I see so much of your experience in mine and my husband’s journey. Thank you for showing the not-so-easy parts of this lifelong commitment," one of her followers wrote.
