Grammy Award winner Post Malone (real name: Austin Post) has caused quite a stir lately thanks to his new slimmed-down appearance. Fans think drugs may be to blame for his dramatic weight loss — and his recent concerning behavior — prompting the rapper to finally address the rumors about his health.

The singer took to Instagram to address those accusing him of drug use.
Post shared a selfie Thursday from the Belgium leg of his new tour.
"I wanted to say that i'm not doing drugs, i've had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i'd suppose, performance on stage," he began the lengthy post, in which he admitted he'd never "felt healthier."
People had sounded the alarm after noticing Post's recent weight loss, leaving many worried.
A recent addition to the family is behind Post's change of heart.
The new dad says he has a happy reason for his new look. "i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel," he said of his new daughter, who he and his fiancée welcomed in May 2022.
"Next up is smokes and brews, but i like to consider myself a patient man … LOL!" he joked.
Post took time to reassure fans that all was well.

He went on to share how he has actually been working in the studio on some new music, adding that his "brain is in a super dope place" these days and that he's the "happiest" he's been in a long time.
"if you're having a hard time or need some love, i can say that you're loved more than you know, and keep f—ing crushing it. Goodnight nerds."
Not everyone is so convinced about Post's drug-free claims.
The post came just days before a video of the new dad went viral. In the clip, Post appears to be intoxicated and slurring his words.
"He need to stay off them drugs," one person tweeted.
Another person accused Post of abusing Percocet, while someone else suggested that he may have smoked too much pot. "Yeah, man, it's called dope," yet another person speculated. "He's got a habit. Hope he makes it out on the other side."

We're not going to jump to any conclusions.
Although drugs do seem like a plausible culprit, Post truly could be trying to kick some bad habits to avoid any health issues that could steal time away from his new daughter.
And as for that clip, well … he does have a little one at home. Any parent can tell you how being sleep-deprived can make you a bit slower than normal.
Fingers crossed that's all that's going on and that there's not something more serious behind all of the changes. We'd hate to think that he was struggling, especially now that he has a toddler at home.
