What to Know
The former Prince Andrew has been making headlines for his ties to Jeffrey Epstein for years, so it wasn’t exactly a surprise to see more links between the two in the latest dump of files released by the Department of Justice last week. The royals have been quiet since the latest update, but all of that changed when Prince Edward broke the family’s silence on Tuesday.
Edward made a short but succinct comment about the situation.
Edward, the youngest son of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip (and Andrew’s younger brother) made a brief comment about the Epstein files while attending the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
“Well, with the best will in the world. I’m not sure this is the audience that is probably the least bit interested in that. They all came here to listen to education, solving the future,” he said when he was asked to address the scandal while speaking on stage, via The Independent. “But no, I think it’s all really important always to remember the victims, and who are the victims in all this, a lot of victims in all this.”
Both Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were involved in the latest file dump.

New photos of Andrew that showed him leaning over a woman laying on the ground whose face has been redacted were part of the new batch of files, along with email correspondence between Epstein and Fergie that mentioned her daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Though Andrew has always maintained his innocence, his connections to Epstein resulted in him being stripped of his remaining royal titles and evicted from his residence last fall.
Andrew is now officially moved out of Royal Lodge.
On Wednesday, People reported that Andrew had moved out of Royal Lodge, the home he shared with Fergie, on Monday,
For now, Andrew will be living in temporary housing on the Sandringham estate in a residence called Wood Farm until the renovations are completed on the home that he’s expected to live in more permanently. The outlet also reported that Andrew will make regular trips back to Windsor during the transition as he makes his way out of Royal Lodge for good.
His permanent residence will be nearby at Sandringham and is called Marsh Farm. It’s not clear where Fergie plans to live after cohabitating with her ex-husband all this time, even after the former couple’s 1996 divorce.
