As the children of Kate Middleton and Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis live very different lives than most kids their age … but just like other little ones, they’re still looking forward to Halloween. The royal kids are on a fall break from school, and it sounds like they have plenty to get excited about during this time.

The royal kids are now on a break from school.
According to People, fall break at Lambrook School, where all three of Will and Kate’s children attend, began on October 18, and the kids will be off until November 4. The news outlet predicts that William will take on a lighter workload during this time while King Charles and Queen Camilla are touring Australia, allowing himself a little extra quality time with his kiddos.
Halloween takes place during the break.
There’s no doubt that for George, Charlotte, and Louis, the highlight of their fall break will be celebrating Halloween. Although there’s no word on what costumes the children have chosen, they’re probably looking forward to collecting (and eating) way too much candy, as per tradition.
Kate has been known to take her children trick or treating.
On Halloween 2022, Kate was spotted out with Louis, Charlotte, and George on Halloween night, taking the children trick-or-treating herself, in a photo that was published by Hello! magazine.
Their neighbor, Jay Rutland, originally posted the photo on his Instagram Stories, writing, “For anyone doubting how down to earth William and Kate are… This is Kate with their kids knocking on our door in London trick-or-treating at Halloween.”
They will likely get some quality time in with their mom, too.
People predicts that Kate and her kids will probably bake together over the break — after all, Kate has always been outspoken about how much she loves being in the kitchen with her kids. There are a lot of yummy treats to bake during this time of year, including just about anything pumpkin spice.

It's certainly going to be a fun break for the kids.
Having a few weeks off from school, hanging out at Adelaide Cottage — where there’s plenty of room to run around and have fun outside — and celebrating Halloween? That basically sounds like the dream. Here’s hoping the family is able to enjoy it, especially now that Kate’s chemotherapy treatments are behind her.
