For years, Prince William’s hairline has had a life of its own. Now, his little bro, Prince Harry, the “spare” himself, has his own hair loss woes, and everyone is watching and talking about it. It certainly doesn’t help that his wife, Meghan Markle, has plenty of haters willing to go to bat against the couple who willingly left their royal duties.
In a clip posted on TikTok from Prince Harry’s July 2026 visit to the UK, there is a clear view of the back of his head and a noticeable bald spot. No one is faulting him for that, and no one is really surprised. Case in point: Prince William and their uncle, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh. Prince Harry’s time was indeed coming. But the jokes write themselves, and the internet just had to join in on social media with some at Prince Harry’s expense.
People couldn’t help but notice his bald spot.

In the TikTok video, Prince Harry exits his car and walks into a building. In that short time, you can see the evidence of his male pattern baldness in a major way. In the comments, users pointed out his bald spot and joked about how Prince Harry once commented on his brother’s hairloss. How the tables have turned, it seems.
Someone commented that Prince Harry now “looks even older than his brother” due to his hair. Others joked that Prince Harry’s hair loss is “karma” for joking about Prince William, who is two years older than Prince Harry and, therefore, began to lose his own hair much earlier than his little brother.
When a user shared a clip from the same UK appearance on X (formerly Twitter), they wrote, “Does Prince Harry’s hair have a UK travel ban? Because it never seems to make the trip. Forget RAVEC…someone investigate the mysterious disappearance of Harry’s hair every time he lands in Britain. ALARMINGLY BALD HARRY!”
Outside of TikTok and X, on Reddit, people also speculated about Prince Harry’s hair. Or, rather, his increasing lack of hair. Someone speculated about prince Harry getting hair treatments of some kind to thicken his hair.
Someone commented on the post to say, “H always looks like he superglued pubes on his head.”
Another person wrote, “Balding is the least of his problems though he should shave his head. That pube transplant is so gross.”
Others joked about the lack of a crowd in the UK to greet Prince Harry.
Other critics of both Prince Harry and Meghan commented on the TikTok to speculate that Prince Harry called the press to make a fuss about his return to the UK. They shared the small group of people outside of his car as evidence of this. Some also commented to point out that there was hardly a crowd and that it was made up mostly of the press and paparazzi. Who, according to some users, Prince Harry’s people might have called themselves.
Prince Harry spoke about Prince William’s own baldness once.
Before Prince Harry started going bald and stopped trying to hide it, he wrote about his brother’s hair loss in Spare, his memoir. According to Us Weekly, Prince Harry admitted that Prince William’s baldness was “alarming.” He also admitted to a feeling that they were adversaries from time to time.
“In some ways he was my mirror, in some ways he was my opposite,” Prince Harry wrote. “My beloved brother, my archnemesis, how had that happened?”
