Experts Say Prince Harry’s Balding Is Only Getting Worse With Stress From Royal Feud

The last few years have been stressful for Prince Harry — to say the least — and now, it appears that stress is starting to show in his physical appearance. In fact, experts believe that Harry's hair loss is accelerating because of the royal family's ongoing feud. Being on tense terms with dad King Charles and brother Prince William doesn't seem to be doing Harry any favors … and considering the history of hair loss in his family, should we be surprised that he's also being accused of using cosmetic procedures to help cover up his balding?

This conversation started when a new headshot of Prince Harry appeared online.

A new headshot of Harry's appeared on the website for BetterUp, a mental health organization for which he is the chief impact officer. Immediately, people noticed that Harry's head of hair looked quite a bit fuller than it has in recent sightings, leading people to wonder what's going on.

Harry spent time in Asia earlier this month and was sporting a pretty noticeable bald spot on his head — no surprise there because male pattern baldness certainly seems to run in his family. But seeing the difference between how Harry looks here and how he looked in his new headshot definitely has people talking.

His fuller head of hair may be due to the use of hair fibers.

According to what Spex Hair founder Spencer Stevenson told The Daily Star, it seems Harry may be using a product called Nanogen hair fibers, which are relatively inexpensive. All you have to do is sprinkle them on areas where hair is sparse and blend with your fingers, and it leaves a fuller, more natural look.

Stress may be accelerating his hair loss.

"Due to the high amount of stress he must’ve been through in recent years dealing with all the exposure surrounding him and his life, it will have definitely negatively impacted his hair," Stevenson told the news outlet. "Definitely, the relationship with his estranged family is not helping on top of male pattern baldness."

Being estranged from his family, moving to another country, becoming a dad to two children … Yeah, those things can all add up to one very stressful period of life.

Prince William has approached his hair loss quite differently.

In fact, it appears he's embraced it — from time to time, he's even known to joke about it.

At this point, it's too early to know if Harry will ultimately end up following in his big brother's footsteps and welcoming the bald life with open arms, but for now, it seems he's trying to hang onto the look he's used to for a bit longer.

And that headshot does actually look pretty good.
