Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage has been the subject of rumors since before they even tied the knot in 2018, but now, it sounds like they’ve finally had enough. After Vanity Fair published a story that claimed that Meghan was planning to write a book about divorcing Harry – among other intel from inside sources who say the couple is nothing like who they say they are – Meghan and Harry are “distressed” about the latest reports.

It all started with the story in ‘Vanity Fair,’ which was published on Friday.
The cover story was a look at Meghan and Harry’s life five years after they walked away from the royal family, and although it seems as if they’re much happier these days without being part of The Firm, the new report makes it seem like what’s going on with them behind closed doors is the total opposite.
Not only did the magazine claim that Meghan’s supposedly plotting to capitalize off of a divorce from Harry but also that the couple is “entitled,” among other disparaging remarks. One person who claimed to work with them on their Spotify podcast even described them as “grifters.”
Meghan and Harry declined to be interviewed for the story to add their own perspective, but according to what a source close to the Sussexes told The Times, they’re not very happy with the way the story makes them look.
The source said Meghan and Harry found the claims about them “distressing” and that the article as a whole was “difficult reading.”
What hurt the most? “The jibes about their work may prove the hardest to shake off,” The Times reported.

At this point, though, it sounds like Meghan and Harry feel like they’ve done all they can do – after all, reports that they’re difficult people to work with aren’t anything new, and it wasn’t all that long ago that anonymous former employees of the couple spoke to Us Weekly about how much they loved their time working with them.
“Sources close to the Sussexes said that previous employees had gone on record in the past to dispute the claims made in the article,” reads the story from The Times.
It appears this new report has truly struck a nerve with Meghan and Harry, especially as she prepares to launch her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, in March. But with so many conflicting stories, what is the real truth?
